I loved District 9 for the sheer intelligence behind the script, although the apartheid theme was hardly subtle. Overall it was for me one of the best films in years, which makes me cringe at the idea of an inferior sequel, which unfortunately has been the case with almost every sequel or remake...
I prefer Steam these days, mainly for the convenience factor of not needing to swap disks. Plus several of my last hard copy games required steam activation anyway...
