Actually I rather like Salvatore's drawn out combat scenes. And it was definitely better than Paolini's method of some wizard waving his hands and someone falling over dead. But anyways my worst read ever was Dicken's Great Expectations. It was a few hundred pages of nothing happening.

He probably fell off a scaffolding to his death. If you are playing on a PC just ressurrect him. If you play console I'm afraid you are SOL.

No, I don't think so. It would be massively annoying to restart because your level 2 ran into a deathclaw. Or even worse... your level 30 gets killed because your companion accidently found a fatman. 8\

Do dogs really chase you? I've only seen a few dogs waiting around for you. I've never seen a pack of dogs after me. You do hear their barking though.

Thats pretty much a cheat code. I never use chameleon because it kinda eliminates the entire point of playing the game.
