Is there anything you are honor-bound to do or not do?

It seems trivial compared to most on here, but a few years ago playing CoD: World at War online, I developed such a hatred for the MP40 sub-machine gun and all of its users (which was 80-90% of people) that I vowed never to use an automatic weapon in an online Call of Duty game again, and I've...

Poll: The Elder Scrolls vs. Fallout

Well in order of the games I've played from both series, I would rank them: 1. Morrowind 2. Fallout 3 3. Oblivion 4. New Vegas 5. Skyrim Not to say that I dislike any of them, it's just that Skyrim is the one I felt the least connection with and thus enjoyed least overall. However...

Sony Launches World's Fastest Personal Internet in Japan

[http://www.speedtest.net] It's a pretty good speed for UK, I guess. However, I can't seem to get it to embed as an image here but this is my connection at my mum's house: 71.56 Mb/s Down 17.22 Mb/s Up 19 ms Ping Better than 96% of GB http://www.speedtest.net/result/2603899836.png...

Any game soundtracks you regularly listen to?

The Painkiller soundtrack is great for any other zombie, or indeed anything-killing game, and is a really unique soundtrack. All of Jeremy Soule's game tracks are amazing as has probably been stated already. I listen to the songs featured on Fallout 3's 'Galaxy News Radio', partly for...

    Favorite RPG setting.

Boring generic old fantasy for me. Never seen anything wrong with it, and a lot of modern takes and twists on elves, dwarves and the like are really interesting (for example the Dragon Age series).

How do you pick which badges to show off?

Circles! Rimmer! Circles! That pretty much summed up my train of though for my selection. I would have the red button in the middle, but mine appears to not move when I try to place it there.

Songs you never get tired of listening to

I'd like to say there are songs I don't get tired of, but I always find myself unable to listen to something if I've listened to it fairly recently, no matter how much I like it. This probably stemmed from my adolescence when I spent all day and all night listening to Metallica, a band I almost...

    Emotionally moving Music Videos

Best cover song ever, in my opinion. I'd listened to the NIN version for a long time before this but the first time I heard Cash's version many a manly tear was shed. (I'm sorry to be the 1,576,049th person to quote you, but I'm sure I won't be the last) Also; I know the last one is a...

Recommend me some pick-up-and-play racing games

How about Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing?

Minor things in games that you greatly appreciate

I've had this, where I was walking through some random dungeon and it suddenly said 'Quest Failed: Stoking the Flames'. I was sneaking around randomly at the time and hadn't done anything, so this confused the hell out of me, until I walked into Riften a long time after, and found Balimund, the...

    recommend me some PC games!

Warlords Battlecry 3. It's a pretty old game, but if you like strategy games and RPGs this is both of them combined, it's some of the best multiplayer fun I've had.

    Games you just...stopped playing

Both Half-Life 1 and 2. I don't know, I just sort of expected them to be a lot better than they were (I understand that they were the games that revolutionized genres but I just found them to be really boring). Every Crysis game, because I play for about an hour then realise that I have...

Remastered / Re-released Games - What would you want to see?

Timesplitters, Deus Ex, Fallout 1 and 2.. And for something nobody has said thus far, Fable: The Lost Chapters would be amazing brought up to today's graphical standards. Possibly Battlefront 1/2 as well, although a third would be both more likely and better.

Poll: Do you dream when sleeping?

A good thing to do is (I've heard, I quite frequently lucid dream without trying) to count your fingers a lot, just randomly during the day look down and count your fingers. Do this over a long period of time, and at some point in your dreams you'll notice your hands are strange, realise you're...

    Poll: What to play?

That would be Mehrunes Dagon, not Dagoth Ur. Dagoth Ur is the antagonist of Morrowind. OT: I voted Morrowind, primarily because of how much more I enjoyed, and still enjoy, Morrowind compared to KotOR II. I've played hundreds and hundred of hours on Morrowind, on so many different characters...
