I see every is using bonfire ascetics in Dark Souls 2 to farm items, but doesn't it all carry over to New Game+ and make things way harder? Maybe I'm just scared of getting slaughtered, but is it smart to just throw ascetics around all the time?

It's a decent game, and when the first one came out it was something no one had really seen before. After that, however, the next to games were pretty much just oversized expansion packs with better graphics and a few new guns.
I can protect myself well enough. I've won almost all fights I've been in (except when a 400 pound guy convinced me to wrestle him. Ah the pain...), probably because I know where to hit people (behind the ear ftw!). My last fight was a few weeks ago when some buddy's of mine were screwing around.

You've probably noticed that DVDs nowadays come with a digital copy on Itunes. Do you think they should make it so that you can get a free digital copy of a movie that wasn't available beforehand?
