Poll: Did the wait for Red Dead Redemption break your tiny mind?

like many before, the fact that I usually get pre-orders on a Thursday makes the waiting even worse! that said, it's the limited edition for a mere £2.86 more than standard price, and a great £7.13 less than the RRP for limited, AND it gets delivered on time, I don't have to leave my house...

The best way to play through Metal Gear Solid 4

Stealth is done a bit differently in MGS4 as you are more often than not surrounded by two different armies. I'd say play it stealth but use a silenced snipe to take out some soldiers in one of the armies and make it easier for yourself. I've played it both guns blazing and super stealth and...

COD Modern warfare 2 NEW MAP PACK

It's too much for two maps you essentially already own, and 3 new ones, the price puts me off a lot so until they come down in price I won't be getting them.

    Metro 2033

I love this game, but I am a jumpy person and I find the atmosphere very eery, and tend to go slow, so I don't make an awful lot of progress. The negative points you've made there aren't really big deals. The major one I have is the stealth is a lot of fun but you can be spotted in the most...

Where in the world is TES 5?

If the new Elder Scrolls carried on where Fallout 3 left off then I'd have that, but I'm not ready for another Oblivion, it was a lot of fun, but quite lacking compared to Morrowind.

    Dragon Age or FFXIII?

I'd go with neither normally, both have really annoying parts to them that don't exactly encourage me to play them. I have both games though oddly enough, impulse buy or love of RPGs? who knows. Anyway, currently I'd say Dragon Age but that's because I've played it more than FF13 thus far.

    Replaying Games.

The first time I played Fallout 3 I just didn't get into it, then a few weeks later, over-hearing some people talk about it, I decided to give it another go and haven't looked back since, have been through it many times. Oh and games like Mass Effect 1,2 the GTA games etc. I have played many...

"Great" games that failed to blow you away

Final Fantasy, the series as a whole. Ok I've not played every game, but from the first one I played to FF13, it's always been a case of many people talking about how amazing it is, and I decide I should give it another chance, and I am always disappointed. But because every game is different...

What's the most you've gone through to play a game, and was it worth it?

Not really too mad, I bought a PS3 for Metal Gear Solid 4, and yes it was well worth it, that game is gloriously entertaining... not only that but I now have a fondness for PS3 only games and my collection is steadily increasing. Still get all games on 360 where possible though.

Now that Perfect Dark has been released on XBL to GREAT reception, how about a sequel?

I'd only appreciate a sequel if it was with modern technology and development techniques. Perfect Dark feels really out-dated on the 360 and where it is fun for a while in single player and co-op, it's not something I'd play again and again, and definitely not bother with online again.

Poll: Indigo Prophecy: Yes or No?

It's quite dated compared to Heavy Rain, but I got it as it was something different at the time, was quite fun and you had the different consequences depending on what you did. Worth a go but do remember it is getting on a bit now.

Singleplayer diehards: What would it take to get you to play an MMO?

It would take a lot, I don't like the whole turn-based thing and there isn't a lot that interest me. The Matrix Online interested me years ago but it kind of faded away for me. Lord of the Rings, Star Trek, Warhammer are all interesting, but not enough to push me over the edge, and I'd never...

Poll: Post Mass Effect 2 Mass Effect

Mass Effect 1 I've played through 8 times and have only stopped because ME2 came out, which I've finished 3 times now, and plan to wait until more DLC before I go through it again. MGS 1,3 and 4 i've played through many times and they never get old. There aren't too many games that call...

    The Fallout Debate

Fallout 3 is a completely different game to the original two, it's a bit obtuse of people to compare them and expect a "this is better because" result. Sure they share the same name and theme and Bethesda tried to do well by the originals, but they are poles apart. Personally, I enjoy all 3...

Modern Warfare 2 on XBL is starting to suck

The Javelin (after it was fixed), RPG and AT4 i'm not so bothered about, but m203 plus thumper as a secondary? no thanks and I don't really understand how Akimbo 87s can be a secondary weapon
