    Anime ending that disappointed you

Project ARMS had a pretty bad ending. Can't even fully remember what it was that I hated about it so much, just that it was bad. In all fairness the whole series had a major case of DBZ syndrome to it, so I should have seen it coming really.

That one thing that Skyrim did that you didn't like or want to happen

Mounted combat would have been nice, and maybe some more wide open field type areas where riding the horse would have been a little better, especially with the mounted combat. How great would it have been to have been to have been able to use a bow from horseback while trying to outrun a dragon...

    Lol, Skyrim.

Weird moment I had north of Riften. Came to this crossroad area on this small dirt path and started hearing dragon roaring. I scanned the skies and saw nothing, just kept hearing that roar like one was close and about to pop up at any minute. I waited a bit, expecting it to swoop down, and...

What I fail to understand about all the big titles coming out this season.

One can argue that it's been a pretty good last few months for gamers. Battlefield 3, MW3, Saint's Row the Third, Skyrim, and AC Revelations, just to name a few, have all hit in a short span of time and have been the subject of major hype for the past year or more. Games people have been nearly...

    Bad plot twists

Yeah, I would really expect that. Seems like the people who decide to make Crichton's books into films are the same people who've never read any of his books. Lost World was the same way, in the whole terrific book/terrible movie thing there. Anyway, speaking of Lost World... Not much of a...

    Bad plot twists

Oh yeah. Dean Koontz's books Tick Tock, and The Taking both have the same terrible sort of plot twist. Tick Tock starts out with this Vietnamese American guy finding this weird doll on his front porch, he brings it in, starts working on his next book, doll comes to life and turns out to be...

    Bad plot twists

That's Tim Burton remakes for you. The original ended up the main character on a beach looking at a destroyed and half-buried statue of liberty. That one...eh, missed the point. Seems to be his M.O. with trying to remake things... Anyway, /rant Personally I find anything dealing with time...

You are the last human on Earth. What now?

Well it depends on when this happens really. If it happened today, then I'd probably have to look into finding a way to travel somewhere south, since the winters where I live now are kinda bad, and the only electricity comes from coal powered plants. So...yeah, power would probably go out on day...

If you had your very own TARDIS

Travel to next week, get the winning lotto numbers. Travel back to now, buy tickets with said winning numbers. Live life of comfort. Bury TARDIS in a nice secure spot where nobody else will be able to find or use it. Seriously though, I wouldn't even attempt traveling very far forward or...

    can zombies actually exist?

Actually, (at the risk of sounding like the ignorant conspiracy theory nut) we have quite a number of bio-research teams around the globe working to weaponize stuff like this. Think that the Cracked article linked up there actually mentions some of the stuff they're working with to that end...

    Creepiest Non-Horror Games (Possible Spoilers)

I found the old PSX game, Galerians, to have a couple of pretty freaky moments. Especially the big twist towards the end and just the overall thing with having this young kid killing people in horrible ways, and pumping himself full of all sorts of different drugs, all in an effort to just...

Games you didn't like but should have

Bulletstorm. I know I should have loved the hell out of the over the top ultraviolence, but...I don't know, it was like it was just too over the top, to the point that I quickly became numb to how awesome some of the killshots really were.

Adventure With a Dainty Poodle Companion in Fable III DLC

Poor poodles, people forget the fact that your "silly" french cut is actually built in armor padding protecting joints and vital points from attack. You were a breed created to be the ultimate warhound, the single most bad**sed four legged killing machine on the battlefield, and for a time you...

Test Your Mental Might With The Escapist's First-Ever Puzzle Adventure!

Finally got 3-2. I can see how the hint figures in now, I mean, I thought it was somethign along the lines, but still, very clever. 3-1 became almost obvious when my wife pointed out a different name for one of the pictures, and 3-3 was downright devious, had to try it a few times until I hit on...
