I'm already bored by Skyrim....it feels like offline WoW.
No, wait, how is it ANYTHING like WoW, at all?

I play WoW, religiously, and it's NOTHING like it.

"I hate Dragon Age: Origins, it too much like Age of Empires 2!"
Mostly cause of repetitive uninspiring quests.
Take quest, follow the marker, kill whatever you have to kill, loot and go back.
Aside from the main quest and a couple of Daedric quests all the others are very dull.
Could you not of said, "Unimaginative Quests" rather than comparing it to an ENTIRELY different game?

Plus, I've found most SIDE-QUESTS to be quite imaginative and good fun, only the miscellaneous quests are "Go here and KILL!"
Well good for you.
I compared it to WoW cause that's exactly what it reminds me of...except off line.

And don't think i'm some WoW hater or something, i've played it for 6 years and still think it's one of the best games ever made....except for tit's boring and uninspiring quests.

This.
Yep. I'm terrifid of Spiders. I can just about force myself to fight the at long range preferably with my fire magic.
I cannot bring myself to fight one up close with melee weapons. I'm starting to develope an irrational fear of the cobwebs that they put for decoration because eveytime I see one I think there might be spiders.
I'm OK with practicaly anything else.
Even those Chaurus things that look like earwigs. I can deal with them.
Just not spiders.

I would play this game and be happy in every aspect of it. I just hate spiders.

I don't have arachnophobia, I've never been bothered by any spider in real life or in any game, but the ones in Skyrim make me really, really uncomfortable. Especially when I do a finishing move and it gets right up in the screen. And dear lord, there's this one dungeon- I walked in a room, looked around because there was shit there, and then I realized spider sounds had been playing. And they sounded too close to be in a different room. Being genre savvy, I slowly looked up- two giant fucking spiders on the ceiling right above me.

I hate that game. But I love it.
I know, I love the cute little horkers, but the spiders can go fuck themselves.

OT: I gotta say I hate not being able to jump while sprinting. Not only can I not jump off cliffs as awesomely but I can't break the game as much either :(

I found the skill sets of Skyrim alot more restrictive than earlier elder scroll games that really annoyed me.

I thought when i heard i was to ride Odahviing to the dragon temples i was like awesome. Then i jumped on and we flew off screen and instantly found myself at the temples. How could people like Bethesda miss such a golden opportunity

i don't know if i'm just too anxious, but i REALLY want to fly a dragon in skyrim. i know there's that one part where the dragon you captured agrees to take you to sovengarde, but it's not the same! it'd just be awesome to just...fly a friggin a dragon! i'd imagine it'd be like you play as the dragon in third person view, and your attacks are fire, ice, or w/e that dragon does, and then a dive bomb melee attack. and maybe i could land the dragon, and a bunch of other attacks open up like bite or devour (WHICH HAPPENS TO ME ALL THE TIME) it would just be SO awesome!!!

Sounds like you need this mod then

OT: I am really satisfied with it right now, the only thing I am waiting for is for more mods.

followers that wont level with you and just get stuck at the level they were when you got near them/met them? also not being able to tell them to switch between melee and ranged attacks.

Mounted combat would have been nice, and maybe some more wide open field type areas where riding the horse would have been a little better, especially with the mounted combat. How great would it have been to have been to have been able to use a bow from horseback while trying to outrun a dragon chasing after you as you took quick shots to slow it down a bit. Then there's the idea of scaling, if mounted combat had been in the game then you could just have bandits running at you on horseback, taking swings at you and doing hit and run things, instant upgrade to combat difficulty when you hit high levels.

Other than that, some more spells would have been nice. Destruction seems to get screwed over late game unless you have the right build/enchantments, would have helped to have a couple of different spells per tier, instead of the whole one spell per element thing they seem to have. Something like one AoE spell, one ranged spell, and one close range melee style spell.

Game does plenty right by me though. Personally love dual wielding and smithing especially.

I strongly dislike your enemy's finishing moves. Sometimes they happen when I have even half of my life bar. It's ridiculous.

Also, why can't my followers level with me? They did in Fallout. Why take a step backward? Very dumb. I want my journey to be me and J'zargo all the way to the end. But soon he'll drop every time someone so much as brushes past him. That is beyond stupid.

And one nitpick, why are all the werewolves black-furred?

So, there I was killing my third dragon for the day. FUS RO DAH! Then, I walk up to it and collect its soul (as I pretend I'm the guy was the guy from Highlander who takes the other guy's quickening). It's all normal procedure. I collect the Dragon Bones and Scales and off I go. That is until I saw Farkas kneeling beside me. At that moment, it dawned on me - I don't need him or care about him, he is just there to hold my crap. Then, it dawned on me again, I don't care about any companion in the game - they are all just moving crates. I don't hold Skyrim at that high place that everyone (including me before this) puts it in because of the absence of this feature/this feeling that I see as an extremely important addition in any game.

I was playing Fallout: New Vegas before this. It was just me and Raul. Stylin', Flyin', and Profiln' across the wastes. As we walked, I didn't view Raul as a meat sac. I saw him as a companion who got hit by some bad luck and horrible occasions (the story of his time in Mexico really got me). The same goes with every other companion in the game (except Rex - don't give a crap about him). I felt that they were worth a damn; unlike the companions in Skyrim. The worst part about this is that I read that there are around 50 companions, which in my eyes means that there are 50 boxes to choose from. Okay, maybe some of them may have an interesting story like Raul or Boone or basically everyone in FO:NV, but that isn't enough.

What was a feature you didn't like from Skyrim? (what I said, a quest, the story, a weapon, etc)
I agree, Skyrim companions are more or less damage sponges and pack bitches.

BUT! You don't like Rex?! He's easily my favorite non human companion from the Fallout series, that dog tanks it up like no tomorrow. Either way, Danny Trejo is still awesome.

Easy, so actually technical progression for the series.

- "Horses are the most widely used method of transport in Skyrim" , yet no one uses them......how odd.

- I can run naked in snow, or sit in it for weeks and not even a toe falls off.

- "Lets have a game with dragons in it but not have fire mechanics!", ingenious. Also, destructible terrain would be nice.

- Bring back Silt Striders, and whilst they are at it, show them moving about Skyrim. How ace would it to see a convoy or such get raped by a dragon?

- Half decent graphics.

- A new engine, not lies and broken promises.

- Much bigger & online.

Lack of a timer on magical effects. That Stoneflesh spell would be a lot more effective if knew exactly when it ended. It also appears that the only notification of contracting a disease is every SOB in game asking me if I'm sick.

The removal of Hand To Hand as an actual skill means that my dream of killing a dragon with nothing but my bare hands is severely hindered.

C'mon, Bethesda! It would have been worth it for the Cave Adventure reference at the very least.

I hate being forced to join any of the guilds that I didn't care to join. The option to quit a quest would have been nice and not tying unrelated quests into the guilds would be fantastic.

Yeah, bring back Feather! I loved that spell, man. Robbed my way to the top of a tower and leaped off the top floor and sailed all the way to my hideout in Morrowind.

A lot of what Shirastro said, except I don't find the main quest interesting, just cliche' and predictable.

The main thing that's bugging me about Skyrim is that ever since I got my armour rating over 400, there is no challenge discovering the land anymore. Only really deep inside caves and what not where there is a decent boss at the end. I reckon they should have set limits to my skills till I unlock them, would've given me more to aim for.
