What is the most money you have ever spent on a game?

On a single purchase, the $120AU (or however much) I spent on the Halo: Reach Limited Edition. On a single game however, it would have to be Oblivion. $70 on my original copy, $100 for the GOTY after my original stopped working, and about $30 on DLC. It was worth it, though.

What happens to the characters in an RPG after they save the world?

Well, I know that some of us are trying to be funny, but I'll give some examples of games where you're actually told what happens to the player character after they've saved the world. Gothic The Elder Scrolls It's much easier to just have heroes fade into obscurity when they're...

Have you ever bought a game you knew nothing about and upon playing it found it to be AWESOME?

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. All I heard about it was that it was good, and I picked it up for cheap in 2005. I was not disappointed.

What was the last game you finished, and what did you think of it?

Half Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax I thoroughly enjoyed it. It gave me a couple of days worth of entertainment for the equivalent of about $12.50AU, which was totally worth it. The core game was rather easy, which made it a joy to play through at my own pace, and the alternate modes...

    Why do you play games?

I play games because I enjoy them. In the case of first person shooters, it's because of the fast-paced, competitive gameplay. In the case of an RTS, it's the thrill of outwitting an opponent with a superior strategy (or superior unit spamming). In the case of RPG's, it's the ability to create...

    so much for the 360

Still on my first Xbox after four years. Had to send my Xbox in to get fixed after the Component/AV port was messed up, and I've had to get the fans replaced in a way that Microsoft probably wouldn't like. It still works though. :DDD

The video game that got you into gaming

Pokemon Blue. I started out playing games like Yoshi's Island and Super Mario World on the SNES, but when I got a Gameboy Colour and Pokemon Blue, my fate was decided.

Anyone know a video recorder that doesn't lag?

You could try DxTory or PlayClaw. PlayClaw takes advantage of multiple cores, since most games only use one core PlayClaw let's you use your spare cores to dedicate for recording and realtime compression of the file. At high compression 1 min of 1080 recording is around 400MB.
