Xbox One Dashboard Video Demonstrates Features

While the instant switching between games/movies/internet looks cool and all, but nobody is going to use it like that. I'd much rather they put out a long video of somebody just playing games and using the console like a normal person would. Or rather a bunch of different videos of people with...

Does XIII-2 actually improve on XIII?

I enjoyed XIII-2 far more than XIII. In short: XIII looked and sounded better, but XIII-2 outshines it in the gameplay department in every way. In XIII I dreaded every new chapter for the stupidity and boredom it was going to throw my way, in XIII-2 looked forward to playing the next...

    Escape from New Vegas

An excellent point. I was just thinking about the same thing. In my opinion, the main differences between Fallout 3 and New Vegas are reflected in the vaults. Exploring the vaults was one of my favorite activities in FO3, but also the most frustrating. I loved the little stories of the vaults...

Poll: Kids sue Mom over "bad parenting"

Could she sue her kids for being bad children? Or for being greedy little fuckers?

    Why Can't I Like College?

University is boring. The fun is in the things you do outside of college. But this could be just me since I only have 2 hours of college on wednesday. Then again, university is just the place I follow classes. I don't know if the US is very different.

    Poll: How do you shave?

With the electric shaver I got as a present from my dad 10 years ago. I've tried razors for a while, but electric shaving just feels more pleasant to me.

Can retro games hold up WITHOUT the nostalga?

I completely agree. Shame I can't get my copy of Dark Omen to run on.. well, anything. The appeal of a lot of the nostalgic games for me is that they use simpler mechanics really, really well. I can still play Tyrian and Raptor for hours on end. Deus Ex is still my favorite game of all time...

Games that really let you down

Fable II. I played the original Fable six or seven times before I got bored of it, and I still think it's a really good and fun game. It was funny, the art style was great and the combat system was pretty good (but unbalanced). Years later when my computer decided to die on me I bought an...

Poll: Deus Ex: HR. Worth full price or wait for drop?

This one is certainly worth the full price tag. Why? Because Deus Ex was great, Invisible War was good, and Human Revolution is really, really good. But most importantly: Give me MORE Deus Ex!

    Reccomend me a book

The books by Preston & Child like Riptide and Wheel of Darkness. Great thing is that you can read them in any order. They're usually adventure/mystery novels in modern times. The science in those books often makes no sense whatsoever, but you won't care since it's so damn entertaining.

    Games that relieve stress

Spider Solitaire. I don't know why, but usually I start playing after a stressful workday and have to stop because I forgot to eat.

Poll: Deus ex Human Revolution, like or not?

The game's great! It has that old Deus Ex feeling to it that was missing from the second game. Though it could be from that I'm still in my experimental first playthrough, but this game is kicking my ass. I even had to lower the difficulty at some points because I got tired of getting murdered...

    Why are Dutch people...

It's fairly simple actually. Dutch is explained above by TheDuckbunny, so I'll take the rest. Holland refers to the provinces North-Holland and South-Holland. These two provinces were the most important during the golden age of the Netherlands, and merchants would often refer to themselves...
