I would go for Sonic The Hedgehog, and Rayman. While Sonic games are utterly bad, and feel none like the 2D ones, the developers just can't die and leave the poor animal alone. Also, Rayman is not like he used to be. It was a great adventure game, and jumping into 3D felt suprisingly...

Hmm, imagine, opening a portal in women's bathroom *evil*. No, just kidding. I would create a portal to my school, because losing an hour every day just for traveling is not my idea of nicely spent free time.

I would also recommend you a Radeon HD 4850, lots of power for cheap price. Also, I'm not sure if your laptop could have it's original GFX Card changed, as far as I know only some of them let you do so.

I went for "Resident Evil". But there could be more "reserved slots". Why there aren't any with Max Payne, or Prince of Persia movies? Or Gears of War?

... HL2 = first edition of Source Engine, which needed at least 128 MB RAM, and 64 MB Graphics Card to run properly. TF2 = latest edition of Source Engine, which now need at least 512 MB RAM, and 128 MB Graphics Card. So he won't have any chance to run this game, till he meets requirements.

Half-Life 2. Seriously, the story has such epic extents, even if it's followed by small amounts of somewhat lame dialogue lines. But overall plot - majestic. Oh, and also Icewind Dale (played it some time ago).

The most awesome glitch in TF2 happened to me yesterday. I was playing on pl_goldrush, my teammate had set up a sentry, that had fallen on back :D

I was referring to Audiosurf, being combination of these three :)
