They all just stopped being good... I do love a good stealth game, but it's been so long since one came out that didn't suck I've kind of given up on the whole genre.

no i agree i don't think it has aged very well. not that VIII has either really, 10 is still excellent though.

it really isn't the best assassin's creed. i would never recommend anyone to buy it, you'd be better just learning the story on the internet and playing assassin's creed 2.
