I would suggest adding a few classic characters they forgot about somehow in this installment. "Blood" and "gore". In all seriousness, I didn't think it was a terrible game, but it didn't feel like Mortal Kombat either. The roster was okay.

You will always have and will always need cliches. A cliche tells you history and provides platforms to work off of. Not to mention, some of the best ideas are just cliches mixed together in innovative ways.
