Also look for Ian M Banks Culture novels. Not only Is it really well don SF (The player of games is one of my favorite books) but has lots of interesting social ideas such as a post-scarcity economy, and robot-organic equality :D. I'd love to live in the culture.
I like all of the options, they all have different advantages and disadvantages. It's not a case of "I don't care" but having all of them available though (not all in one game, looking at you EA).
The Original Shogun. I may have only been 10 and not very good at it, but that was one of the games that really got me into strategy. Then getting a LAN cable and playing with my dad... Good times.
Overwatch mod for HL2 could be played on LAN with 3 players. Thats designed for a team of players to go against a single player so if you then got 2 more friends you could easily do 4v1.
If you know how to play HL2 and basic RTS unit control then you'll pick it up fine. I would play it more but...
Sejuani, Morganna, Leona, Zilean (best champ of all time) and Sivir are the 5 that I normally play. Zilean especially as time bomb kills are the most enjoyable kills you can get in LoL. Knowing they ran away while they knew there was no hope...
I normally only play with friends though as we...
Babs first came on screen - "I really like her mane" :D
I thought it was okay overall. Some bits went well and I liked (such as the thinking spot). Other bits felt more meh and not as good as usual. Not bad, just not as good.
Still worth the price of popcorn though.
I get it lots on my first play-through of a game. Thats when I play as if I was the character and make choices I would want to make.
Second playthrough it becomes really rare though as i'll usually be playing as an evil guy (to be the opposite of before) so mentally, it's not really me making...
I'm not waiting for HL3.
I'm waiting for the orange box 2! Containing L4D3, TF3, HL3, and Portal 3.
It's the only way Valve can get around the 3 problem I can think of (other than just not making them *shudder*).
I've read elric also and I can highly recommend Corum, Von Bek and Erekose as well if you havn't read them yet. Getting quite hard to find now though...
Issac Asimov's Foundation saga is really good, not much action, focused more on growing civilization and science. Asimov is generally a good...
Lord Vetinari and Death come in close 3rd and 2nd but hands down first has to be Lu-Tze from Thief of Time.
It's my favorite Discworld book and I just love his charecter for some reason. Not saying I don't like Vimes or the wizards because I do, I just don't love them as much.
I never went trick or treating when I was younger. My family and I would always stay up late and play a board game/ card game. One of the best things that happened though was my parents bought some grapes and some sprouts. Boil the sprouts while melting a bowl of chocolate. Then dip the grapes...
