Pi is an awesome number. According to the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (which is a book of almost biblical importance to me and people like me) the answer to life, the universe, and everything is 42 (go read it if you're still confused). And 1337 is 1337speak for elite, and that's probably the most well known example of 1337speak on the internet. Anything else you need to know?

i dont believe this, there are an infinite number of digits in pi, you cant multiply it into an integer

You sir, are clearly wrong. Consider 1/pi. That number, times pi is an integer.

I knew the 1337 thing, and if you're on about Pi as in 3.14 (approximation) then yes I got that. It was mainly the 42 thing that confused me.

I think the question still remains though, why do we care? Are we trying to surmise that 1337speak and Mathematics are all you need to open life's console and start spawning flaming Cthulhu's in a random continent?

That's why there's an exclamation mark after the ten. When you see 10! in math, it means 10 factorial, which means 10 * 9 * 8 * 7 * 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1. Obviously you haven't covered that yet in your math classes.

Not necessarily. I'm just a math geek, I do advanced calculus for fun when I'm bored, and any references I can find in math to other things I hold dear are awesome.
