Erm, that's a Nova Cat.
I'm pretty sure they were about 75 - 85 tons and were armed with several very heavy short range weapons [LBX cannons and Heavy Ultra Auto-cannons] Plus it's a clan mech, so it was vastly superior to most other battlemechs.

Hate to ruin the stream of creative answers, but, why not just shoot them? Armor isn't bullet proof or even bullet resistant. Hell, arrows went through the suits.
Maybe a nice fixed gun, like a mounted 50.cal or an M60, with a rather large barrel to finish them all off.

That's why there is 15,000 of them!

However you are never going to find 15,000 knights to all ride to their deaths, after the first rank or two falls to the enemies mighty thunder stick. They will be fleeing the battlefield.
