...And I still can't make an interesting thread. I seriously have a problem starting a good thread. I can, however, make an established thread spicier. It's what I do.

What do you do? Can you make a good thread? Do you throw threads off course? Can you make a good argument?

I'm just a terrible writer with no original ideas. But I have 10,000 posts now, so WOOO!

EDIT: Under advisement from a certain user, I have added sex to the title. Discuss this as well.

I feel that some of my threads died before their time. But I like to be specific and I may close off a lot of discussion value for those who share my side on any issue.

I think up some ideas for a while until I find them suitable, then post and watch the thread bomb. I've only had one 'successful' thread and that was about scars...

I can do all those things to varying extents. Like one time I made a thread with less than 10 replies then I also made another with over 10 pages.

I couldn't come up with a good thread to save my life. I just don't really know what people would be interested in talking about I guess. Plus I have difficulty expressing my own opinion most of the time, so my posts are usually just a jumbled mess. Not exactly the best thing to have at the start of a thread. I was always told in school that my writing skills were above average, yet I've never believed that. Most of the time I can't even figure out what to say, and even when I do I'm barely able to put it into words.

I've never seen you around :| How did I miss you!?

I've made some good threads, like the Supernanny one which got everyone riled up; I liked to see the discussion.

Like I said, I never make good threads. But I have made some excellent derails.

I've made about three threads that have got 100+ replies.
The rest of them just bomb really quickly or get shoved down the page under a rush of newer threads. I also can derail a thread if I get the right company, which is normally Neon, as proven by this poor thread. [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.188693-Poll-how-often-do-you-post] And no, I can't make a good argument.

And congrats on 10K, hope you get another 10K in the future.

Congrats, I still remember you derailing my PM conversation with you, ^_^ you're awesome.

As for me and my threads, I have made one that is so big there is really no need for me to make another

Congrats and its okay to not start threads. Too many awful ones get started as it is. There should be no pressure to create threads. Its much better to add some spice to existing ones staretd by new people anyways.

I used to start threads when I was new, then my "good ones" got next to no replies, I got frustated and now never start threads.

My threads are usually extremely specific that 99% of people pass up, with a few replies here and there but I'm content as I've had a specific discussion. It annoys me when I see threads that have something like "How would you feel if..." as their titles because most people click them to see what the other half of the sentence is - boosting the threads popularity and ultimately rewarding the original poster with 'started a thread with x views' whereas in fact they've found a cheat way to it.

1)fair play that is an epic post count
2)I've only managed to make one thread that's really got off the ground but I'm happy with it
3)I generally stick to the topic in hand when writing on threads
4)see how my post hasn't derailed the thread
5)I like puppies any one else like cute little puppies?

My best thread has only made it to two pages. Suffice to say I don't make very good ones. I've got an idea for another one that I think should do well, but I haven't gotten the urge to actually type if up.
