Don't. My derailing skills are enough to hold me up.

My best thread has only made it to two pages. Suffice to say I don't make very good ones. I've got an idea for another one that I think should do well, but I haven't gotten the urge to actually type if up.
Aw c'mon man, give it a shot! It would be interesting to know what kind of threads you'd do!
I've began to type it up, I might post it later tonight or tomorrow. We'll see. :p

...And I still can't make an interesting thread. I seriously have a problem starting a good thread. I can, however, make an established thread spicier. It's what I do.

What do you do? Can you make a good thread? Do you throw threads off course? Can you make a good argument?

I'm just a terrible writer with no original ideas. But I have 10,000 posts now, so WOOO!
Congratulations.

I have an uncanny ability to write long editorial threads that people can magically disagree with without actually reading them.

The text wall knee jerk reaction. I bet they read the title, first line, or last line and think that's the whole of your post.

Good threads?
No.

Throw them of course?
On occasion, although I avoid doing it for too long.

Good at arguing?
No, not really.

As for what I can do, I can... Moving on

Congratulations on 10,000, try not to break the Keyboard on the next 10,000.

I managed to make one popular thread about the perception of non-heterosexuality on the internet, but my other threads uaully only make it to two or three pages.

Well that's not true, I disagreed with your last article after I read the whole damn thing.

It's all too easy to do, even if you usually listen to people's opinions. If the thread title is "Final Fantasy sucks", are you really going to read through 500+ words related to that topic?

Eh...yes what if the guy was than going to say "...sucks the air out of my lungs with how awesome it is...", you want to know what you are agreeing/disagreeing with.

I'd read in enough to see if he's talking about a specific one, or the series as a whole. Because I will defend 9, but won't defend 8.

Congrats! Another one added to our ranks. xD Nah I kid.

I haven't seen you around much though D: Maybe 'cause I now live in Forum Games. >_> I just visit Off Topic when I want to wander around the forums.

(Yes, in my mind the forum is like a giant health spa or hotel or something).

OT: I've never made a particularly good thread, first one I remember doing was already done by a Mod, but I didn't know till they told me. xD I've made 3 or 4 in my time and they never get more than a few pages each.
Ah well, I don't mind so much.

Well, I'd just call him a pretentious twat for using a controversial thread name to boost views for his topic, then. I don't like it when people post threads with misleading and/or reactionary names just for the sake of views.
