It looked so bad when I saw an advert for it in the cinema, I honestly thought it was a spoof movie. Dx

If it isn't, then it looks amazingly bad, and not in a "so bad it's good" way IMO.

I probably won't be watching it. If I wanna see stuff like that I'll watch Jaws or Lake Placid again. :L

When my brother first told me about this movie, both the name and the plot made me think it was some crappy old B movie along the lines of The Giant Gila Monster. I was utterly shocked to learn that this was actually a new movie. Seriously, how can you get away with making a plot this stupid in this day and age? It's fucking retarded. Piranhas are not an interesting movie monster. All they can do is swim. And since they're not exactly stealthy killers, there is no excuse for anyone beyond the first few victims to be killed by them. So the only way people in this movie are going to die is through their own fucking stupidity, rather than the monster being interesting and clever. And that fails to interest me.

I do think it might have a "so bad it's good" quality, but I hate the idea of people getting paid to make movies like that. I don't want to give someone money for producing garbage. It's the only thing I don't care about being pirated, which I suppose is hypocritical of me since I'm opposed to piracy in all other areas. But I just hate when people get paid for making this shit.

Also those Piranhas look more like Zerg than fish.

I think the biggest problem with this movie besides the 3D gimmick and the very good chance that the acting is terrible, is that the movie is trying to be serious

So everyone there is this new movie comming out which I'm sure you've all seen the adds for on Youtube. Pirhana 3D, which from this trailer looks so utter crap, it almost looks good. (Yes that is Doc Brown from Back 2 the Future)

Obviosly the Back to the Future jokes are just going to poor right through, example:
"This paticular piranha vanished 2 million years ago" "Wait doc so your saying that those Piranha time traveled 2 million years into the future?" " Precisely." "Damn I'm late for school. -Marty McFly" -Some guy from Youtube.....

No matter how bad this movie is, it's always nice to see drunken over priveldged college kids get horribly killed XD

I don't appreciate you're elitism and discontent towards college students, or indeed anyone else you would insult by calling a "kid," but I won't bother trying to steer you from you're breathtaking elitism and condescending attitude towards others. And according to you're profile which I just read, you are younger than me, and yet are intent on calling people who are largely older than you "kids."

The movie looks great though, and I don't disagree with you're feeling towards these people, as they were too stupid to listen to the commands of the person with the megaphone telling them to stay away from the lake.

Also, it's unrealistic because ocean fish could not survive in fresh water.

I'd probably watch it, pretend that the 'victims' are the cast of the Hills, Laguna Beach and every other imported 'reality' show on MTV, then leave right before they inevitably kill off all the piranha, who were doing nothing untill a load of teenagers turned up and ruined their nice little home
