Shadow of Colossus. A bitter sweet end. I knew i'd never see a new behemoth, but the game was still soooo satisfying.

Well any Half Life game really, Mercenaries was great fun, The Bards Tale was freaking awesome, and a few others as well.

-Edit- SLAI was freaking epic. Story wasn't good but the gameplay was absolutely awesome.

Halo 1, and mass effect are the only endings that i've been remotely touched by. O and splintercell 1 and 3. I guess cause those games actually had a full ending unlike fallout 3 that I recently beat.

Deus Ex: Invisible War had that affect on me recently. Before that, it was The Punisher.

Also, Splinter Cell: Double Agent (Xbox), Shadow of the Colossus and MGS3.

World in Conflict has some amazing voice-overs for the plot, and for some reason, the scene at Cascade Falls always hits me.

Metal Gear Solid 3. One of the most emotional games I've ever played, and my first game in the Metal Gear Solid series.
This is another one I really loved, especially by the end, ESPECIALLY after
fighting the boss
:D

...and all I could do was sit back in my chair and applaud as the credits rolled in. I don't think I've ever been as thoroughly impressed by a video game as I have been by this one. It fits together perfectly... The gameplay, the story, the characters... It's all just seamlessly intertwined in one big bag of awesome.
The question I pose to you guys is if you've ever had a moment, at the end of a game, when all you could think was "fuck, that was excellent" (or words to that effect :p)
Have you played the episodes as well?

The orange box will probably be one of the best purchases you make in gaming. Seriously, WORTH IT!!!

Ya I too felt the same thing you did as the credit's rolled in Half Life 2, (my first Half-Life game and truth be told, first decent single-player action game I had played.)

I have to say I haven't had that same feeling with another game - almost with CoD4. Almost.
