Anyways, I would keep you're expectations to a minimum, you get them too far up and if the game doesn't meet your standards you could be disappointed; even if it's a good game.

That being said, hopefully it's more of a James Bond type of game, not just a Shoot Em Up FPS

This isnt just the original with better graphics (which is what they should do to stop people whining), its a remake of the Wii game from last year, that had Daniel Craig instead of brosnan and had most of the levels revamped, it also didnt have the exact same multiplayer as before.

Wait, wasn't that just the game Golden Eye Source? Yeah, it sorta worked, I guess.

Uhm, it's a brand new game and it's due out in late October. It's a modernised story and the tone will be changed to suit Daniel Craig's Bond.

I don't like this new one with Daniel Craig. Goldeneye was made with Pierce Brosnan, and personally, I think it should stay that way.

I had a chance to try the Wii version. It's not very innovative or revolutionary by any means (it's basically Call of Duty with a Bond face-lift), but I had fun nonetheless. I liked how the game often allowed me to take a more stealthy approach with silencers, takedowns or simply avoiding enemies altogether. You can still charge in with guns blazing, but I found myself getting CoD deja vu whenever I did. I also didn't like how "boss" characters were defeated via quick time events most of the time.

To summarize, it plays it a bit too safe at times, but it's decent overall.
