Sorry, i thought there was like one game on the Wii and that was pretty much it...
Can't say i'm excited... or depressed... 'Indifferent' is the word i'd go for.
However i am pretty sure that it will not be the best FPS this year.

YES! Oh, not saying "yes" to the game coming out. I talking about someone else finally realizing Quantum of Solace's (the game) ingeniousness. The game was a sparkling diamond in the 1st person (and somewhat 3rd person) shooter genre. However, this Bond game looks okay, but not worth getting over MW3, Battlefield 3, Saints Row: The Third, Skyrim, Gears 3, etc etc. It has a hell of a lot of competition and I don't think it will be able to stand up to those mentioned above. BTW who is developing it? Activision is publishing it, but is Treyarch still the one actually making it? I would really like to know. Anyone got the answer?
I got the Wii remake, I thought it was ok but I prefer to ignore the story because (for the most part) I prefer my remakes to be set during the same time as the original (plus the remake lakes Sean Bean)

Not getting just because of Daniel Craig's Bond. I hate him... I think Pierce Brosnan is the greatest Bond IMO.

OT: I Loved the old golden eye. I can remember many many hours while in the barrack during submarine school playing this with friends. It is one of my fondest memories from my time in the navy. Create comraderie and friendships i value to this day. For that reason alone i will not be even giving this title a chance. I do not want it to be better than i remember because i want to remember the perfection that was that moment in time. I also do not want it to be worse so as to tarnish that memory of the original game. I hope it is everything you wish it to be though.
Its GoldenEye Modern Warfare. The Wii remake was good enough for me, I don't need to buy it again.

Anyway, not really much I can dd that hasn't been said. It's already been released, you're pre-predicting how good a game will be and it's probably going to shit on the originial.
I own the Wii version and while its not a bad game, the fact that Sean Bean isn't 006 just feels so very wrong. I still don't see the point of modernising it. Sure it can be more relevant to today's issues, but who cares? The story was fine the way it is and putting Craig in only removes one more triumph Brosnan had as Bond. The guy had what, one - maybe two - decent Bond films. Give him his game back you swines!
