MGS4 is possibly the worst offender in this way I've ever encountered. Kojima thinks he's a film director, but deep down he knows that much of what he wants to creates would never make it into even an average Hollywood film...which is why he keeps on making games.

The SOP system had gone offline again, to protect itself from Liquids attempt to gain entrance through the use of his own DNA as an access key, and with the SOP system going offline, so too did the emotion suppression side-effects. Each and every soldier was feeling the full weight of what they had done - all the stress, all the guilt, all the sorrow, the rage and the terror. It was destroying them, and driving them insane, into an almost animalistic state. Hence, blindly attacking, but almost crippled - a description that just happens to coincide with that of zombies.
