Take my ratchet set and take down the 4 screws that hold up the stairs on each side of the outside landing of my apartment. Make a rope ladder out of the 550 chord and set it up so it can be dropped quickly. DONE!
By the way I DO have guns and about 200 rounds just for my 20 gauge alone.

Probably run to the graveyard. Due to the fact that it;s the last place zombie would look and any zombie is the ground arnt strong enought to claw through wood and 6ft of dirt.

I've got nothing in my home i could use, but if they're unable to smash in a door i'm safe.
I live in a small apartment with only 1 door leading out of teh apartment, and unless the zombies can climb brick walls, 3'rd floor will be safe enough for me.

I guess i could duct-tape a good knife to the end of the de-attachable pipe of my vacum cleaner to create a spear in case they could tear down the door.

Then i guess i would game play nazi-zombies for the remaining 4 hours and 50 minutes.

I would totally go out and buy stuff to reinforce my door durring those 5 hours if i was allowed to do so though.

Before I start, I would like to say that I actually can do everything that I am saying.

I would barricade from both inside and outside. On the outside, I would put my tractor, my trailers, benches and metal fencing. I would park my 2 SUVs at strategic locations to prevent zombie entry. Windows will be boarded up and covered with tarp, blankets and towels (It's better if they don't know the windows are a way in). If time allows, I would board up doors as well.

On the inside, I would start by barricading all entries. In the laundry room I would move the washer and drier in front of the door. In the basement(after removing any needed items) I would move the massive entertainment center in front of the door. Then I would chainsaw the stairs. In the living room I would move a couch, a huge chair and the entertainment center in front of the doors. After retrieving any needed items, I go upstairs and chainsaw the staircase.

Upstairs I will have with me weapons and a ladder. Firearms include 12 gauge pump shotgun, 20 gauge double barrel, 30-06 rifle, .270 rifle, .32 ACP pistol, .22 pistol and a .22 rifle. I will also have several heavy items, a baseball bat, an axe, a sledgehammer, a shovel, the chainsaw, lawn mower and several cans of gasoline. I will have a ladder to navigate the house, as I am confident that the combination of my barricades, my weapons and my location (the middle of nowhere in an extrememly low populated town) will mean very little to no zombies.

That entertained me for awhile.
woah man your set..........................so uh...................I was just doing some genetic virus experiments...................want to hang out?

I'd grab a printer, print out every topic on The Escapist involving zombies in the past two weeks and make enough papier mache to coat my entire house thirty layers thick, with plenty left over for my neighbours to do the same.

Really, Escapists, this zombie obsession is starting to go a bit over the top.

I'd kill some random so they send me to jail and since the jail already has barricades i'd be fine.

Id go into my basement, destroy the stairs and set up a spiky pit of death...
What happens when the spiky pit of death fills up with dead(ish) zombies?
you eat them
*tries to determine if that is cannibalism*

What about the meat being infected?

Will it add an odd taste to the human?

Couches go up against my two door-windows. Mattresses go up against the windows. I make sure they're steady, then I wait with my cheap guitar for any zombie that happens to wander in.
Wait...

You are planning to flcl them?
Fooly Cooly... Correct? Well if that's what it means, maybe. I don't quite remember what happens in that show since it's been forever since I've seen it let alone any anime. But, no. By cheap guitar, I mean the one that I don't value that much. So I won't mind if it get's broken while I'm smashing some heads in.
There are a large handful of fights in that series, and half of all combat revolved around the use of a guitar as a weapon.

Cheers.

Use those five hours to catch a flight to Alaska.
that way the zombies will be nothing more than zombie-sicles if they try to invade.

Luckily there's a lot of crap laying around my house... and I mean a lot! So this would all be pushed against windows and doors to form a makeshift barricade. We have some, but no decent firearms vs a horde, only a few rogue zombies.

In all probability I wouldn't last more than 10-15 minutes :'(

Someone can save Ocelot? pleaaaaaaase.

I know there is a lot of Forums on zombies, but here's one more. You have 5 hours to barricade your home from zombies. You can only use items you have in your home(the shed counts). How would you do it?

As an afterthough to those who would ask, you can't leave the area, it's chaos. And you have no gun's or bullet's.

EDIT: I meant to say that you can't leave for a week. You can not leave because the road's are blocked, it is chaos AND THERE IS ZOMBIE'S.

EDIT 2: You can leave your house IF you are getting item's to barricade with AND is only 30 second's away
Yes but what type of zombies are they? Are they slow/fast can they climb or not? Can they break things easy? You have to take this stuff into consideration. If they cannot climb I would simply smash up my stairs (My staircase is both rickety and gigantic)

If they can climb I would hide in my toilet with a lot of ramdom stuff blocking the door and lock the door too. There is a tap with running water in there and I could quickly nip up the street for food supplies before hell broke loose.

Simple. Dress up like a Zombie ALA Bill Murray in Zombieland. Zombies don't mess with their own. Act your way to the local market for supplies and hope Emma Stone will be the one to break into your dwelling.

Board up your place otherwise. I live in Arizona USA and I have plenty of guns and ammo. Your statement of no guns is too late. I could invade a small country on my own. If the Rambo movies are even remotely accurate :)

P.S I know about headshots and zombies. I can make my ammo last for several hundred of them.

Take everything upstairs, get a rope ladder, smash the stairs. Done.
This, or if the construction site down the road is still there take their cement and build a wall.

If i had more time i'd probably build a moat and fill it with starved crocodiles and pirahnas.

Slow moving zombies? PFEH. PFEH I say. I'd run to the general store (within 30 secs of my place) and grab a shitload of food, then I'd probably go back to my house and.... I don't know, tbh I probably wouldn't bother and have fun beating on zombies with my guitar (yeah, that's right, I'd really use my strat as a weapon). After that and a bit of running around I'd probably return home (that's after luring the zombies away somewhat from the running I guess) either that or I'd meet up with my friend who lives down the road and decide a course of action (what? I'm a decent runner) the bottom line is that slow moving zombies are laughable

The ususal stockpile supplies > destroy stairs > sit and wait would apply, but...

Since you specified slow zombies, I really don't see why I would have to stay put at all. Unless you're also limiting my walking speed or making the rest of the zombified world come at my house, wouldn't it be more prudent just to walk briskly through the staggered, shambling siege lines and get a quick snack before going somewhere less undead?

Smash a few cabinets and wadrobes and use the wood to board up the doors and windows, turn off all the lights and electricals, raid nearby houses for food and stockpile any weapons I can find (by weapons I mean melee weapons like knives, hurling/cricket bats, shovels, iron bars, steel pipes etc.).

Maintain a low profile during the night and attempt to make my way to a better position during the day (there's a school down the road and a fire station/ambulance station about five minutes away).

Who said that I had to barricade only one place? (in response to the OP's 'it's chaos and there's zombies', the local area here has a low population that mostly comprises of old people and families with young children).

I would just move all the food upstairs, fill up every single container i have with water, get a ladder, and destroy the only staircase. As an extra precaution, I could even put extra supplies in the attic.
