thats just not true, and even if it was you could argue that this is true of almost every country.

I fail to see how free healthcare is BAD. Maybe there's some crazy logic behind that I don't know.
I wish. Fox news need to sway people to their viewpoint, and what better way than to lie to a bunch of pissed off rednecks?

Yes because Fox are NEVER biased and ALWAYS provide a truthful representation of the facts and no way manipulate them for their own gain...

I love my free healthcare.

Just heard this on Fox. Apparently 70% of people living in England, Australia, France, Germany and New Zealand want to, and I quote "Dismantle their health care system and start anew." Yes, I know this is bullshit but I'm curious how people of these nations feel about our media's portrayal of them, especially with all this health care hoo ha going on right now. Funny? Sad? Offensive? Also, do you know any people from any of these countries that actually do want to "dismantle the health care system and start anew."?
Oh, it's really nice, the way they think our healthcare is "Evil and Orwellian". Those idiots make me so mad, I could actually see myself joining a terrorist cell sometimes.
Also, their so called statistics are bullshit, everyone I know is perfectly happy having healthcare that doesn't leave you to die if you're not rich enough.
To be honest, if wanting a system where doctors are allowed to help everyone they possibly can insetead of leaving those who can't afford it to die is "evil", then I must be a very bad person.

The only problem with our system is that the ratio of doctors to support staff are somewhat out of kilter! I personally hate the NHS, personally I hasten to add. I never use it haven't been to the doctors in about five years. I pay taxes to not be looked after.

To put that to one side for a second, my dad does not hate the NHS, he has cancer and D.V.T he is now in a wheelchair and has nurses attending him at home for free. He has been for a battery of tests for free and marks his good health and continuing survival to our system.

It like democracy is a flawed system but it's the best one we have. Also you know what we do with Foxes in the U.K.? Or at least used to before it was made illegal.

Ah the mental Image of Rush Limbaugh being chased down by dogs! Except no hunt sab's would feel the need to stop it

It's just politics. If the republicans were pushing it Free Healthcare would be the best things since sliced bread and the other side would finding something to complain about.

As a Brit my main gripes with the NHS are that as "universal as it" and despite paying my national insurance I still have to pay for dental treatment, optical care and prescription drugs.
(I might be wrong in this too but I'm also under the impression the Scots don't have to pay for these, feel free to correct me on this though)

On the other hand its absolutely brilliant that I didnt have too pay money to not die when I contracted meningitis, that they patched my broken wrist up after I went and bolocked it in a fight and they replaced my Dads hip free so he could get back to work.

Hmm, Englishman here, I'd say I disagree. Personally, I like my health care, and I know the rest of my family do as well. Still, this is Fox News, who aren't that well known for their pro-health care stance, or their ability to report on anything correctly, so never mind.

In all fairness, this is the English. The only thing they like doing more than complaining and queuing is queuing up to complain...

Some of these countries do not have a complete social healthcare system or they have one that could, in fact, work better. They should have included countries like Sweden and Finland in the survey, where almost everyone is happy with their healthcare situation.
Also, I'd like to know how this survey was made and what the questions were and who they asked(groups of people, ages, etc.).

Frankly, I see a few similrities between Fox News and the Obama administration/Obama himself.

1. Both have their ideologies and state what their intentions are (I see a lot of people doubt Fox New's intentions, but I have reasonable doubt of Obama's as well).

2. both distort facts, leave out information, tell outright lies (although sometimes they tell the truth)

3. Etc, etc.

It'd be nice if there was someone we could really trust for news. Both Fox News and the Obama Administration have shown themselves as not truly reliable; the same as other groups.

Oh well. No use whining.
I tend to trust BBC America. They're not 24 hour news here, so the stories are actually well researched, and decently Bias free. (By comparison anyway)

British.

We complain, but we'd complain more if it was taken away or changed to the American system.

My dad used to work in marketing, the best way he found to get statistics was to go through the canteen and ask whoever was there 'do you like this?' 10 people in the canteen, 7 people say yes, 70% of people surveyed said that...
