I bet some divine watcher is getting a good laugh out of this ... I would if it wasn't so sad.

Question just sprung into my mind - between those 90 girls, how many fathers are involved.

I'm betting the number is going to be less than 90.

Of actual fathers, probably less than 90, but of potential fathers, well, I'm guessing it's a lot more.
Well considering the potential fathers, the number would be 90, because there can't be more than 90 fathers attributed to 90 pregnancies.

A better way to say what you said would be: but of potential fathers, well, I'm guessing it's closer to 90.

Even when sex ed is taught, the curriculum can be ridiculus (even without the abstinence only crap). Guys and girls should be taught sex ed in detail. A guy should know exactly how a girls junk works and girls vice versa. Why? because even if you teach sex ed, it doesnt mean the kids are listening. So if you put the burden only on teenage girls, who will often have sex because they want to feel grown-up, or they are insecure and cant say no, more pregnancies are going to occur. At least if the girl doesnt know how her reproductive system works, it might help some if the guy knows. I was in a planned parenthood clinic once and overheard the girl next to me (who was pregnant) talking to a friend about how surprised she was she got pregnant. Why? Because when she asked her boyfriend if she could get pregnant while on her period, he said "nah baby thats an old wives tale". It took everything i had to keep my head from exploding.

Oh, I'm definitely sure it's much less. I knew girls in high school who had no idea who the father was.

Those silly children, I doubt if a single one of those children has actually considered the rammifications of having a child and being a high school leaver or potentially drop out. I feel sorry for their unborn children.

WOW, purposely getting pregnant? what the hell are they planning, shotgun weddings?!
Uh... It's called "wanting a child". My sister is PURPOSELY doing it too. A lot of people that are married and have a house of their own may plan on having children one day.

Not in high school, though, that is crazy.

Also, can't wait till the parents order some paternity tests and the guys who were "lucky" will be paying for the bastards all their life.

People are programmed to make more people, that's a fact.
A virus is programmed to multiply with complete disregard of the health of the host that the virus inhabits.

So the question is: Do we want to be the global equivalent of a virus, or should we put those fancy skills of adapting to the enviroment to use and thus insure our survival?

hehehe, reminds me of my sex ed class (I think most of my class were 13-14 at the time). We got to watch this educational video that showed a baby being born in GRAPHIC DETAIL. I'm talking: camera pointed straight at the poontang as the bloodsoaked head of an infant is being pushed out of it, along with all manner of disgusting bodily fluids smeared across the thighs of the woman in labour.

Suffice to say that the boys as well as the girls in class (including myself, and I was probably the only one who was pretty resilient to disgusting things, since I was the only one who actually volunteered to dissect some pigs intestines during biology class while the others just looked at it in horror and disgust) got every thought of ever being near childbirth eliminated for years to come at that exact moment. XD

In fact some of the girls shouted right out in class that they would NEVER EVER have kids, and speaking as one who viewed the video with them, I can definitely sympathize with such a statement.

You think you've seen a lot of gory and disgusting things when you've gone through a couple of hundred horror movies, including movies like Peter Jackson's Braindead. But im telling you, you've ain't seen nothing yet until you've seen the "miracle of childbirth". :p

Incorrect. You can be a potential father and not be the father.

I know that, but that isn't even what I was saying. I was saying that the way the other person worded it, it sounded like the other person was saying that with those 90 pregnancies, there could be more than one father attached to a pregnancy, which is of course biologically impossible.

Well... lots of slutty girls in a school for people around my age?
*Moves to Memphis, TN*
"Ladies..."

I joke, I joke.
OT: That's pretty damn stupid.
I sometimes wonder how that's seen as bad when, by all means, they are doing the exact right thing naturally.
Reproducing as soon as you can.

Obviously I do know why it is frowned upon; they have school, are too young mentally, etc etc, but still...

I thought he was suggesting that there could be less than than 90 fathers for the 90 pregnancies with the implication that more than one girls has gotten pregnant from the same guy.
