Now I'm no expert, but that seems unlikely. I don't think 92% of babies in the U.S. even have access to computers, and many more of them wouldn't have facebooks because their parents would be, you know, sane.
Computer usage in the US among the age groups now having children is near 100% with an estimated 94% of US households having a computer. It's normal to have a computer in the house here. Broadband internet penetration is over 90% with close to 70% of households having a broadband connection. Internet penetration is near 98% as well when other forms of access are considered (satellite) it's 100%.Fanta Grape said:I'm calling zombie bullshit on that one. I'm guessing that 50% of American babies don't have parents that have a computer, let alone internet, let alone facebook, let alone 92%.
Yeah... It's closer to 100%, with the most common reason for not having internet access cited as the person doesn't feel the need for access at home, at a whopping 72% of those without. The next most common is that they don't want to pay for it either because they don't see the value or they cannot afford it with 20%. Most of those without home access have access at another location and do not feel the need to have access at home as well.NpPro93 said:Now I'm no expert, but that seems unlikely. p.s. AWESOME avatar!!!!CheesusCrust said:I'm not sure how much credibility to give that statistic, is this all American children? What about those without internet access?. To me it seems pointless. But since everybody uses facebook these days its not surprising for parents to want to throw up a page about their precious little baby.
