We here always talk about horrifying and weird movies that have scarred us for life. This thread is to warn people about movies we've seen that we wish we could un-see.
Teeth. DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE! Don't ask about it, don't see it, don't even think about it. You have been warned. What movies do you Escapists want to warn your fellow nerd of?

Haha I thought teeth was absolutely hilarious! If i had to un-see anything it would probably be the marble hornets series on youtube. Slender man still creeps me out.

Salo

A movie that is banned in most countries for murder, molestation, feces eating, general acts of extreme cruelty, and naked children for the majority of the film. Oh I haven't seen it. But I'm just warning you all to stay away. Apparently the creator of the film had his head ran over by car tyres repeatedly after the film was made by one of the parents of said children.

&

Martyrs

If you enjoy torture porn then by all means watch this movie. I'm not talking about Saw (which is in the genre of Gorn: Gore Porn). Saw you can at least enjoy watching all the idiots fall into various traps. Martyrs however (in attempt to be artsy in meaningful) is purely about extreme cruelty. There is a scene (which feels as if it goes for about 30 minutes) where a dude repeatedly wails on this chick punching the living fuck out of her... Yeah... anyone who actually enjoys this film needs to get their head examined.

Normally I love horror and violent stuff if there is a point. But watching cruelty for the sake of cruelty simply makes me want to reach through the screen and kill everyone involved including the cast and crew. Did I mention I never watch a film again that makes me feel like this?

Why is it that whenever a thread like this pops up, Teeth is always one of, if not, the first movie mentioned? I found it to be so bland. It wasn't terrifying, nor was it so bad, its good. It just was. Difference in opinion I guess.

A movie I want to un-see? Nothing really, because then I'd forget I saw it and want to see it again, not knowing how bad it was the first time (unless we're counting The Sixth Sense and The Village! I'd love to resee those again for the first time). But if you want me to stop being so technical... I don't really have a solid answer. Maybe Machine Girl, but even then, I could laugh at how terrible it is. Same goes for films like The Room and Manos: Hands of Fate (can't wait for that sequel either!).

Can't say I care about Salo, but Martyrs sounds interesting. How much more extreme is it than Hostile, or Cabin Fever?

Some Japanese movie called The Woman with the Slitted Mouth or something, I've seen the trailer, it's just weird.

More on-topic, try not to watch Avatar if you can help it. If you do, watch it in 2D.
And the Star Wars prequel trilogy.

Hackel's Tale. I'm a Clive Barker fan, but, Hackel's Tale just went too far without having any redeeming factors. Let me put it this way, if for some strange reason a horror film whose central horrific element is "zombie orgie between a living woman and a graveyard full of men" appeals to you, then it might be the film for you. But if you, like me, don't think that'll be your cup of tea... well, let's just say Hackel's Tale is best avoided. I legitimately felt dirty after watching it, it is definately the movie to not watch.

Are you implying that you don't like the original trilogy? Because if you are, I think i may have to set you on fire.

The Ring. Those that have watched it understand the risks if you don't have a vcr/dvd recorder (hard driver recorders are no good).

Whoops, I ment any other movie they made after the Original trilogy, The Original trilogy was fantastic, it had great acting great characters that /grow/ as the story progresses and NO LOOSE ENDINGS. Then somehow George Lucas contracted the stupid virus and made a movie with one dimesional characters.

I found Teeth to be a comedy and not the laughing at kind. The idea of giant vagina teeth makes me giggle. My gay roommate is convinced that it's true and that inside every vagina is Indiana Jones with that damn golden monkey statue ready to run when the boulder falls.

mansquito, and 90% of all sci-fi original movies. if they are on your tv, run away.

repo men. it was a great movie until it ended, and then i was like, i just wasted 2 hours of my life, that i will never get back.

six guns. Just don't.

eragon. Do not allow these bastards to make one more penny, that shit was weak. A cop out of epic proportions. Like, not showing tali's face levels of cop out. Maybe even worse.

Off topic: If you haven't watched the movie accepted, go do it. Now, run to the local walmart or movie store, buy it, and watch it now. I don't care what time it is, My favorite movie of all time. and my two friends i made watch it, bought copies the next day, and have watched it so many times. Hmmm, i think i just figured out how to kill the next two hours.

I found that movie hilarious.

and for the people who have and will say The Human Centipede, the movie was weak a good idea that was let down through cliche and a bad cast, the centipede wasn't very believable either, the only way the feaces would have gone into the others mouth is if she lapped it up.

This hilarious thing is, that could be used to describe pretty much any of movies after Star Wars VI!
