I don't think it's that no one remembers it, but no one seems to talk about it.

Parasite Eve.

It had a big company, a sequel, a cool mix of Silent Hill type creepiness and action RPG goodness and it was well received by critics. Yet I hear people go on and on about Legend of Dragoon and other RPGs of that era, but no one ever gives Parasite Eve the love it deserves...
Fuck. Ninja'd.
Apparently we should start a Parasite Eve appreciation club. You make the 4th person (I think) to mention they remembered it.
I remember it. That was an awesome game, and one of the few horror games that actually scared me.

Urban Chaos. Not to be confused with the more recent (and not as good) Urban Chaos: Riot Response. This Urban Chaos is a third-person action adventure and fighting game from 1999, released on the PC, PS1 and Dreamcast. It was one of my favourite games back in the day, with fun and varied gameplay and great atmosphere. However, it seems to be very obscure and I don't know anyone who's heard of it.

I had that game :D
Pretty deep for a ps1 game, and the last few levels were effing mental (Flaming demon gorillas and wizard crime bosses, evil robot things that looked human?)

IS THAT MAN BEING HANGED? DEAR LORD!

Calumon: Didn't Disney buy the rights to dub Digimon? Wow, we won't get censored if they let that in!

I love rise of Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends, I still play it. In fact I played it last night.

I would kill for a new one with better sound and graphics.

Edit: ninja'd wow I did not think that ANY one on the escapist had played it, I am in shock.

I've seen it mentioned a couple of times (in about 7 years), but Freelancer seems to have slipped from everyone's minds.
THat was an awesome game!

OT: Portal runner.

And also, I don't remember the name, but a game where it was top down view, you could play as different greek heros / mythological creatures. (Herculese, Eros, The queen of the amazons) I think you had an inventory, and the graphics weren't great...I don't fully remember it evidently, but I really do wanna know!

The Mystical Ninja games on the N64. The first one is a "Mario 64 meets Zelda 64" type of game, while the sequel is an old-school sidescroller more by the likes of Super Mario World. Both games had fun gameplay, amazing music, and (in the sequel's case) very challenging difficulty. However, the game was very Japanese, which alienated a good number of people. Nonetheless, they were awesome.

You have brought back one of the greatest memories that i have ever had as a child and also answered my question as to what the games name was (I was about 5-6 when i played) but thank you so much!

First, I love your avatar.

Second, I think this is just more evidence that this game needs to be released on the PSN.

Message to Sony and Square Enix (because they read my posts religiously, you know...): We have the money, you release the game!

Please.

The Saboteur. The only reason's it's remembered (if at all) is because it was Pandemic's last game as a studio. Other than that, just a forgettable GTA clone, not even a good GTA clone............oh and Yahtzee did a review on it, so it get's remembered that way also

Rainbow six for PS1 no one I know ever heard of it exept one of them that payed it together whith me.... and he still say it sucked.
It did suck mang, sorry. I felt that it was virtually unplayable, I could barely figure out what was going on half the time.

For me, Omega Boost for PS1. You're a giant flying robot in outer space and you have missles and lasers and sich, and there's an awesome target lock-on system. All the badguys are like polygonal balls with glowing red centers. I loved that game, played it every day after school at EB. Then I got a PS1 for my very own and bought it. I don't know where it is now, but mang did I love that game.
Really I was 7 and I have the hole game in german and I still figured out what to do.... well I find other games really difficult so I don't blame you^^

Hopefully someone can help with this, but it was a SNES or SEGA title, and it had mickey mouse in it. It was CO-OP and you fought using vacuums or something.

A game called Assault Rigs by Psygnosis released in 1995. One of the first PC games I remember playing at the tender age of 2 or 3. If any of you remember it, I think I might actually make love to you. I hold no responsibility for what I might do.

Breakdown. God one of my favorite games. Sure it had it's flaws: tough controls, wonky first person camera. But God, the hand to hand combat was awesome and an amazing storyline, and an overall awesome xbox game that nobody remembers or probably heard of. So sad...
