A stealth game where you play a vampire who escaped from human slavery, trying to survive in a world where the creatures of night are taking over and the humans are going to any lengths to defend themselves - including enslaving the vampires as their personal guards.

How bout inside the human body? Seriously, battles between viruses and antibodies. Maybe there's a way to make it really epic instead of really boring like how I said it.

The Aboriginal dream-time. What would you do? I dunno, be a kangaroo? That would be cool.

stone age games had been done, but not realistically, like Bonk's revenge is one I remember playing a ton as a child. It had a caveman as the main character; however, it had dinosaurs too =P

there were also many western set games made, they just fell out of style. One Duke Nukem game actually covered many settings in one game =P

I don't want to start going into abstract settings; however, some have been done too =P

Though I do think that many settings not used would be either boring, unethical, or something we do not relate to very well.

A third person game where you and 12 other survivors are stuck in a grocery store surrounded by fast zombies who are 3 times fast than you. Your goal is to help them escape, an ou can control each one individually. If you let the zombies in then you fail (You can also go on the roof and such). There would be a bunch of nice extras but it would take WAAAYYYY to long to type up...

A small town in northern Michigan infested with rednecks and the town likes to pretend it's from Switzerland sometimes.

If there is a game about that, I'll be damned.

What about a game where you live in a little box, and try to conquer other little boxes without them stealing the egg rations you received recently from your spies in the middle zone. And if you can steal the other teams potato rations, you win until somebody eats the magic broccoli mixed with wine juice. But if you both steal the rations at the same time, you need to punch the person to your left in the face. Then you win for good because you establish your dominance by punching them in the snout.

Gallipoli or and Australian War Game.
What about Kokoda, that would be amazing.

You could have a crysis sought of thing, a couple of people get separated from their platoon, and end up deep in enemy lines. You could control the other people in a sort of ME2 way.

Just a thought

post apocalypse with games like Fallout and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. isn't post apocalypse, the nuclear accident is an isolated incident to Chernobyl and surrounding area in the Ukraine.
Meh, it was pretty apocalyptic for them. I was really just including it in the 'after the bomb dropped/nuclear meltdown' survival type genre.

Hmmm, I never thought of it that way before. I tended to ignore the 'punk' part of Steam PUNK.

I guess a better word would be 'steam tech'?

But still, what your talking about sounds way cool and I would still love to see a game based on that as well as a game based on my origional premise, Steam'Tech' lets call it.
