That's pretty inspiring. I'm glad the guys weren't too fanatic to be convinced.
It is dismissive to describe most of these over-zealous assholes as fanatics. They aren't a world away from the kind of people who dance in the street when hearing a world leader has been shot and dumped in a bag in the sea like a character from the Sopranos. Most the people who support an extremist position tend to be ordinary folk who have allowed themselves to be convinced that religious opression is the best way.

Heck, the vast number of BNP supporters aren't actually racists, just ignorant folk who bought into a xenophobic ideology because it offers simple, drastic solutions to their concerns about the EU, immigrants and muslims.
Exactly. It's far too easy and convenient to simply think only "bad" people are responsible for bad things. Bad things are often caused by people who don't simply bother to go beyond the easy and convenient way of thinking. It's so tempting to ignore unpalatable truths, rather than change your worldview to fit the facts.

Having said that, though, in this case, arming yourself for the purpose of raping a woman in front of her father...the line is crossed too easily, but it's still there.

That was pretty cool.

This thread however, is a mess. :p People exclaiming how little they care, stupid arguments over 'freedom of speech' (really?) and then folks screaming 'Fake!'.

Does nobody see the actual issue here?

Sadly that seems to be the case.

Ehh...

And I spent half a day arguing with them...
trying to get them to see the point.

No such luck I guess.
