@Slycne - Map scale is in mind-progress.
@BigZ225 - Your post was fine.
@Everyone - For the final kill, your'e allowed to post up until your weapon kills the enemy ogre (blade hits the head, hammer smashes the ribs, arrow penetrates heart) and then I will post the retaliation of said enemy ogre, and the consequences.
After that, I will summ up the party's injuries, what equipment they lost or used and what their current physical state is

Well that's two down.

Vik'nar's attack had been two-fold. First stabbing low and hamstringing the beast's left leg and following up with a vicious right thrust straight into the lower spine. The katar's couldn't make the savage gashes seen from sword or claw, but they pierce deep and under practiced hands strike vital locations. The two wounds coupled with the gutting it had received earlier caused the great ogre to canter forward into the waiting edge of the Sergeant's falchion.

In case anyone was wondering what a katar is. It's a weapon that traces origins to South India. You'll also hear them described as 'punching daggers'.

Well... We ventrued into the mountains where Skaar (the deathnight) began to use phsycic attacks on us, which in turn made our scout kill himself. As Ellondra and Vik were lifting the body onto Vik's horse a note fell from one of the pockets this is the
Note:

Your mission is to guide the travelers to the Gryphon lair. Once you are there, you must take one of the eggs present before they manage to destroy them all. Take the egg and bring it to Swaere. Explain that your orders were to escort them to the Nest only, and not back to Herelden. Once you are in Swaere, you need to locate a house next to the tavern, wielding a red banner on the rooftop. At the door, knock twice, and enter. Once inside, speak the password and hand over the egg.
Retrieve your payment in the old stone fountain in the square.
Destroy this note anyway neccesary, by all means must this note not land into the hands of the travelers. May the Gods watch over you.

The document is scrolled up with a small sign of burning at the bottom of the paper. Like someone tried to burn it, but quickly stopped the process.
Along the note is a map of Flemwood, map of Calemdar and several other trade manifests and merchant documents assigned for Herelden, Wesburg and Swaere.

Also from the saddle-bag you see a small cloth-pouch of Black Rock and two vials of Moundvine poison.

After that Ra'ive and Dworgen charged at Skaar who had now appeared but instead of retaliating (much) he offered us his services. We begrudgingly accepted and ATM we are just finishing off a group of three ogres that had charged us.

Hope that was clear just say if you need any more info

Have you killed off any of the ogres yet. If you have how many are left and where are their current position.

2 of the 3 are down. If I'm imagining this correctly spacially the last one is engaged with Skaar relatively to the front of the group. The other 2 falling to combined attacks by two characters each. The last one must be 'kill shot' though to finish the encounter. See -

I had attacked the same one Ellondra was in combat with. I was just describing my assault that led up to her slicing its head off. The idea being that she slashed its belly and stepped forward past it. So that when it turned around to face her, I came in from behind to cripple it and she finished it off.

Gutted, hamstrung, probably paralyzed from the waist down and then had his head sliced clean off. He's having a bad day.

The last one up seems like it should be the one Skaar was attacking.

If it can be via PM, do the OOC there. I want as little as humanly possible of OOC on the thread, except if it ranges to almost everyone or everyone in the group. I don't want a Mod checking this out and seeing the thread filled with OOC through the roof. Thank you.

OT: Kill shot is available to anyone who wants to take it. I mind you, taking a Kill shot is risky and is quite the health hazard....

Skaar finished his pirouette, bringing his massive bone-claymore up and around to drive it straight through the back of the ogres shod-mail armor, it's wickedly serrated blade thrusting forward to ipale the creature through up through the back and out of it's heart; an attack that, with both hamstrings cut, the creature could not hope to avoid.

The magnificent ogre, forced onto the ground with a hammering thud, swung his arm up into the air, making contact with Skaar- As the Knight crashed into the stone wall behind him, he suffered a blow to his stomach as a rock came tumbling down the hill.

Skaar kneeled down from the pain, and the ogre lay dead and motionless on the ground.

Ra'ive is covered in blood and suffers from a knee sprain.

Vik'nar retrieves 6 of his Throwing knives.

Ellondra has a big cut on her sword-wielding arm.

Skaar's chest piece is heavily damaged and his stomach is greatly bruised.

The Death Knight rose to his feet, brushing off the snow from which had fallen onto his armor; if he felt any pain from the blows, he did not show it. "Move quickly, you louts. T'will be dark soon, and there are far worse creatures which roam the mount at night..." He took a step back, crossing his arms over his chest and waiting for the group to finish off the wounded stragglers.

Ellondra could have assisted the dark knight--but she didn't.

"Louts, he says..."

The Sergeant knelt down and tended to her own wound; after searching the dead scout's bag for gauze, the cuff of her blouse was well enough to mop up the blood and tie around the wound to stop the flow. She cleaned her blade of Ogre's blood and stood, prepared to continue.

"We should tie the horses. The terrain is becoming rockier, and I predict we'll be climbing soon."

Ra'ive watched as the mighty beast crashed to the ground and smiled secretly behind his mask when he saw Skaar crash against the rock.

'Serves you right fiend' he thought to himself as he wiped the blood from hi claws on the back of the fallen beast infront of him. He also tried as best as he could to wipe some of the blood from his cloak and hood but eventually gave up.

'Its no use, chances are you'll be covered in more later' he thought as he looked around past the steam rising slowly from each Ogre's corpse, scanning for more potential threats.

Seeing no immediate danger, he became aware as he moved back towards the rest of the group of a intense pain in his right knee. He did his best to ignore it and instead tried to focus on the task at hand.

"Lead on 'sir knight'" he said his voice practially dripping with sarcasm and contempt.

Aer'rad scanned the ogres corpses. There was nothing of value on the dead motion less bodies so he continued on his way. He regrouped with everyone else and tied his mount down. He doubled check his equipment. He tried to cover himself with his cloak to protect himself better from the cold though it was no use.

"Let's hurry and finish this. I am tired of this cold," Aer'rad blew into his cupped palms.

Just over an hour of climbing brings you to a narrow mountain pass. The climbing hasn't proven to be hard, but the rough and rocky soil slowly starts to slightly scratch your arms and bruises have formed over the count of slipping from footholdings.

There doesn't seem to be any other world, for all you see is snow, mountains and a deep white fog, cowering between the hills and trees below you.

On the horizon, over a dozen lights peek through, meaning Swaere's nightlife has taken hold, and the darkness of night has colored the sky.

The snow and wind had picked up a few minutes into the climb, but as you reach a ledge revealing a large area of open ground, any trace of weather -except for the fog- is hidden to you.

To the farside lies a cave, and there are several Gryphons lingering in the area.
Some of them are eating carcasses, flown to the area by the mother, while the others are sitting on the cliff, either watching over the eggs placed there or looking down, into the vast valleys below.

Behind you can be heard, a pair of loud wings being swooped in rythmic motions, but nothing can be seen.
No Gryphons are in flight, for it is night, and it is almost time for rest.

The Death Knight turned, his ragged shroud fluttering ghost-like in the icy breeze "This way." He grunted, setting off on the narrow mountain pace without a backwards glance, showing no sign of fazing or being affected in the slightest by the ogre's punishing blow; to sustain himself, he'd had to hunt far more dangerous prey than the ogres, and had received wounds which would have killed a mortal man. To him, the bashing he'd received was nothing serious.

After an hour or so's trek, he came to a halt outside the gaping maw of a natural ice cave, burrowed into the side of the mountain. "Inside. It will be dark soon, and the night is not safe here for ones such as you" He stooped down to enter, scrummaging around in the dark for a few moments before the sound of a match striking could be heard, and a fire flared to life in the center of the cavern, illuminating the Death Knight's skeletal armor and their surroundings. It was clear that this was where the creature made it's home; in the corner was a pile of furs and bones left to tan, and in another strips of dried meat and ale, aquired from Gyia-knows-where. "Make yourselves... comfortable" He muttered, turning about and leaving them to settle in as he ventured further into the caves darkness, down a tunnel which lead out sight.

It had initially been Ellondra's request that the mysterious being lead the way; so she followed, though her falchion remained unsheathed, carried in her right hand.
