What's wrong with this? I know girls who've been buying hand lotion and perfume from Victoria Secrets since they were middle-schoolers. In fact, most of female friends seem to prefer that and that Bed, Bath, and Beyond store.

What's really sick is that you're assuming she bought j-strings (joking).

I JUST had a rant about little kids on another thread so some of you are saved. But I agree totally, I see LOADS of girls in year 9 and below (14 and under) with La Senza bags and similar aged boys with Gears of War merchandise.

And we wonder why so many kids these days are considered to be hyperactive?

I want kids to stay kids for as long as they can. It bothers me my daughters will grow up too fast because society forces maturity on them.

Kids should be allowed to be kids - Victoria Secret should be ashamed of their 'Pink Section'.
I know they need to make money but life is long, childhood is short and getting shorter every year for reasons like this.

EDIT: I should clarify - of the Pink Section my concerns are that it's in the same shop and exposing children to their other more adult products.

I love that store. You can imagine in which direction my head is locked when I walk past it.

What? Oh, right. Well I think there are worse things little girls can be doing than going in Victoria's Secret, and we should be happy with how things are. Though it is sort of wrong. And I do hate Bratz.

Maybe she was just buying her own underwear...

According to the GF, Lingerie stores usually offer better fits and more comfortable stuff than department stores.

Okay, that's wrong and disturbing.

Almost as bad as being dragged into Ann Summers, aged 14, by an older gay guy.

Victoria's Secret sells cotton PJs, perfume, soap, body lotion...all sorts of things that would be perfectly appropriate for a little girl to buy. Not everything there is a merry widow or thigh highs.
Yeah, but considering the situation and the day and age we live in I don't think assuming she didn't go there for cotton PJs...

PS: Bratz is one of those "rock bottom" things in our culture... "Or lack there of" culture...

I, being the person I am, was in a GameStop just browsing. While I'm looking at a game, I hear a small voice ask an employee, "Do you have the Bratz game?" I turn around and see a small girl. I have two younger sisters and judged her to be around twelve to thirteen years old. Her parents were not with her, she was alone. Granted, that's not too strange, but was strange was what she was holding. She had two large shopping bags, one in each hand, both full. One read "GAP", the other, "Victoria's Secret".

What kind of world are we living in when little girls are going to Victoria's Secret? Moreover, "Bratz" are just mini skanks (I could use more choice language, but will not out of fear of moderation). They wear copious amounts of makeup, revealing clothing, always have to be on top of fashion, and are marketed to small children.

I'm not saying they shouldn't be allowed to buy stuff like that, but I find it sad that they feel compelled to buy it in the first place.

Comments?
maybe it was for her older sister, or mom
possible, but still creepy to me anyways.

You know, I'm pretty sure Victoria's Secret sells more than lingerie. What's the outrage, again?

I think that that store also sells some regular cloths, too, such as short-shorts, and everyone wears those.
And I doubt anyone gives a flying fuck about bratz

Maybe she was re-using one of her mum's bags? I do that kind of thing. Not with dirty bag mind.

Thirteen-year-olds purchasing their own underwear? WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO?
Haha I agree. People under 16 wear stuff too. Even if it isn't just the "safe" underwear things, does it matter? No-ones going to just wait until they are 16 to try out things, does not mean they are having all the sex
