What I want to know is, who the hell is this being marketed to?

Songs about 12 year old girls 'shaking their boom booms'? It's a bit creepy, really..

I think it isn't half as catchy as 'Friday'. I couldn't stop listening to that damn song when I heard it :D

(goes and listens to 'Friday' for the 100th time)
Catchy? You find a young girl in severe distress, at the crux of a moral dilemma, 'CATCHY'?!

She shouldn't have to pick a door goddammit!

Why dedicate thread towards horrible music like this?

Both songs are equally terrible and not in the funny way. People should stop talking about them.

Apparently we're all jealous. Someone please shoot it. Like, now.

She's 12, by the way.

I had to stop 30 seconds in.
She's 12, and she's trying to be sexy.
That is gross.
Someone shop in pedobear ASAP.

So that's why people keep laughing and saying 'oh, Friday's your guilty pleasure, huh?'

Wow. I'm not even American and even I know she got the melody way off at 1:25!

Edit: well, more like 1:28...
She doesn't have the range to sing it the real way, so she had to change keys and then change the melody a little to keep it down.
Yeah, when she sings without the autotune she sounds actually decent.
But those musicvidoes there.....
Seriously, my ears are running with diarreah. Or at least it feels like it.
In my head.
At least Friday had some kind of meaning, if you can call it.
The OMG and My Jeans are complete crap. Well, even more complete crap than Friday.

Why do people care so much? Yes, they're terrible songs...and that should just be that. Why do people continuously drag them up despite claiming to hate them so much?

It's really counterproductive.
Why not? Nothing better to do on a Sunday....

Well, i thought it was impossible...but there is a song (a new one) that is worse than Miss Rebecca Black (who sings the hideous Friday)

I mean...really?!?! is this the way music is going now? if so i aint getting into it, and i'm a sucker for pop stuff (hell i don't mind Justin Beiber for go sake).

Your thoughts guys? even though i can already imagine what you guys are going to think/say xD
I see you like giving stuff that you don't like free publicity.

Did you know that Rebecca Black's "Friday" and Jenna Rose's "My Jeans" are both by the same company?

Did you also know that the only reason why Rebecca Black got famous is because someone posted her video on his "worst music ever" blog? She's now earning about $20,000 a week, and it's ONLY because people who didn't like her stuff kept posting it and getting her attention.

There's a lesson there, somewhere.
I don't mind that, I think Rebecca Black deserved a better shake then what she got.

Jenna Rose though... I'm hoping I forget her and that the internet does too.

If not... well, hopefully Ark Music Factory will eventually feel the pain of being known as the worst music label out there, and people will stop signing up.
Are you kidding? Probably more people want to sign up now than ever before, given how much of a cash cow it's becoming thanks to all the haters.
I don't believe that all publicity is good. Uwe Boll's movies never make money, despite being legendary.

I hoping that Ark Music Factory has something similar happen to them. Don't piss all over my hopes and dreams... please?

But Uwe Boll's films do make money. I'm sure you've noticed that more recent productioons of his are more high-budget. That money's coming from somewhere - DVD sales and syndication of the old films he made.

Ark's in a very good position right now, it remains to be seen how they'll handle it. I wouldn't be surprised if they start making a transition from a vanity label to a traditional independent the way things are going.

From what I understand, Uwe Boll would be shafted if any of his movies were profitable.

Oh god. I have laughed so hard my stomach hurts. Thank you for making my day better :)

OT: It seems to be me that her story would be similar to Rebecca Black's. At a guess I would say her parent/guardian, whoever, paid a music company like "Ark" or something similar and this was the product that came of it. I could be wrong though. She could have been scouted for her talent or something but I don't think so. I couldn't watch the entire video, her voice grates.

Article is out of date. The law the author is complaining about has since been changed, an Uwe's movies are bigger and more high-budget than ever.

Probably for the same reason the <link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TYRIYL5uP6w>Dance Precisions aren't (read: I have no clue why).

(Note: The above link is SFW, but you will be asked very awkward questions if caught watching it. Also, you may vomit.)

(Please, under no circumstances should you let your child dress like that.)
