A new name for harassers/extremists

So something that popped up in the other thread is there is actually no term for extremist elements within the gaming culture. Those extreme elements are the ones most likely to commit harassment and other crimes but since we have no terminology for them they get sorted in with the gaming community/gamers as a whole.

Maybe if we can find a fitting term for those elements we could start identifying them and raise awareness that those do not represent the community as a whole.

Sure this will take time and won´t help in the current situation but it could help deal with a similar situation in the future.

When in the future someone gets harassed instead of people going "gamers are misogynistic" we can rightfully say "nope not gamers just the (idk)cybernazis" or something like that, if by that time the term is already established and the gaming community has show that it is willing to label the extremists as such they might just believe us and focus their attacks on those who deserve it.

Of course "cybernazis" probably wont be it.
Do you have any idea for a fitting term to describe those elements of the gaming community?

While i do appreciate the value of the classics "****" is too general.
I would need to be something like the "feminazi" to the feminist.
Something familiar enough to a term for gamer that its recognizable as such but different enough to show that they not the majority.

In the UK, we use the word **** as an insult for anyone. We don't discriminate with our insults. Can't say it on the BBC though.

Same. It's a pretty well used word here, I use it nearly daily when discussing various people of all age and gender.

cybernazis? Nah, those "gamers" are bad but I never feel comfortable comparing anyone to people under Hitler's or Stalin's regimes, whether I agree with them or not. I may go with something else related to games, joyless dicks=joysticks or maybe something else. Also, just don't like the sound of **** or anything with the -unt ending, i much prefer asshole. Is it general as hell? Yep. Does it fit those kinds of gamers? You bet your fricking life. The biggest thing though isn't that these guys don't have a name, it's that people rarely ever do anything about them. People, at least from my experience, are more likely to kick a newb or hacker from a game than a harasser, which i find just plain sad.

Do any of you see the irony of using a derogatory term for female genitalia to slander a group of people who harass women? It's like if LBGTers started calling their haters dyke or fag.

On the topic of a name to use I don't see a problem with coopting MRA, I think they would fit under the umbrella of that term.
