they should have all regions (as in the tv show had like 6 regions or so? the orange islands and such?)

it should be in 3d, i am tired of looking down on my sprited guy, i want to see everything dammit

if they really want to milk money from the wii, have it so you can hook your 3ds game to the wii if you want to play on the bigscreen just like with pokemon colliseum and the old pokemons

if they do an mmo, it better include damn near everything, otherwise it will be shitty quick.

they'd have to spread out regions as expansion packs or something, otherwise nontendo wouldn't bother, not enough money.

I do agree that Pokemon should move to an MMO status, but I will give Gamefreak credit, they're doing something ballsy by making the original groups unavaliable and making the B/W versions only have new pokemon until you've beaten the game. I want to guess that the story will continue a bit, and the fact that you can battle random people from around the world apperantly makes the game MMO like

They're moving in a new direction, though I agree, I would very much like to have a game like the G/S/HG/SS games, where you can travel back to the other regions, they've got boats, and they have hot air balloons and blimps, why not have the ship thing to travel to the farther regions, where you can battle people also on there, and you can visit Mt. Battle from the Col. games, or the other places Elite Fours, there being more than just one, why not let you battle those?

Like I said, they're moving in a new direction, and at least it's not the same of more new pokemon mixed with old ones, we've got what is like a new game, all new pokemon, new being the important part

yeah thats true,i agree, but it just pisses me off they haven't acknowledged all areas in the game, its like its a whole different universe even though its not. especially with the tag team battling that was involved alot in the orange islands

Gamefreak will have to actually put some effort in, OHSHI.
They are content with recycling their cash cow endlessly, no need to actually improve it.

I would love a pokemon MMO so much that I would problably never leave...

especially if the pokemon combat acted like an RTS or turn-based (like how the civilization games do it) mini game

Well, the mechanics wouldn't have to be changed too much, and they already have a bunch of stuff for microtransactions and events and expansions...

I'd buy a pokemon MMO, I'll bet a lot of people would. Although I probably wouldn't pay a monthly fee.

They could release new editions as patches, It could work.

It's a dream everyone has, and if done right it has the potential to be awesome (for ages 13+), but it has a high risk factor for what Nintendo has established for the series and as a company. Not mentioning Balance Issues, Cheaters, and Jerks that would ruin the game early on for kids and newcomers without Nintendo placing strict restrictions on everything. Kind of like the Friend Codes that kept the younger kids who play their games from being assaulted by Jerks, Pervs, and those users who can't help but draw phallic shapes on every possible surface.

There's also the fact that it already is Massively Multiplayer.

The only thing it isn't is an online one, so you'd have to actually go out into the world and interact with real people in order to play against them. And the system works pretty well, so why try to fix it?

Well, that's the point of this:

Stop making the games, just make it an mmo and release new gens as expansions, then you just don't have to buy them.
