Just keep drinking. Forced it in you!
I started drinking beer when I was 13 or 14 and I thought it was hideous as well, but I chugged and chugged and after a while it wasn't so bad anymore.

I also have a problem with drinking, mainly other people drinking. Example: A person doesn't like beer. The same person asks how to make the beer taste good so that he can drink said beer.

I can't stand it either, but thanks to tiramisu I love the taste of brandy and marsala wine. And as much as I hate beer, I'd love to try a Men's Room Original Red Ale. Two more years... :(

Or, possibly, stop drinking it until you're old enough. According to your profile, you're only sixteen. Besides, at that age I seriously doubt you can get your hands on any kind of good beer, and are forced to make do with shite that tastes like it's already been drunk once. There is a world of difference between good and bad beers.
It's legal to drink as a sixteen year old in many nations.
Like: Denmark and Greece.

Beer is an acquired taste. Sipping it is also not the way to drink it, you drink it like you would, say, an energy drink.

I'm much more partial to other, generally stronger drinks myself, but I got used to enjoying beer a while ago. It's not bad when you're just out with friends and just want something to drink rather than drinking yourself stupid. I mean you can do the latter with beer, but I find it's ineffective, takes liters of the stuff to get me drunk.

Oh and you gotta find good beer. Not every beer is good beer and not every beer is a taste for everyone. Start with lagers, light beers, might do you better as well.

There are a lot of countries where you can drink when you are 16. My country is no exception.

But anyway, I don't always like beer either, especially not if it's warm beer. Beer needs to be nice and cold.

Just try different beers. I love real ales, but there are some I find f*cking disgusting. I'm very fond of lager, but again some are totally rank. Conversely I'm not really a stout drinker, but there are a few out there that I find palatable.

As a rough guide, you get what you pay for. Don't be tempted by the '8 cans for £6' offers from Carlsberg and Fosters until you've scoped out some of the more expensive continentals, like Peroni and Lech.

Theres tons of varieties of cheap beer so you could try a lot, alternatively I find beer tastes progressively better after the first one so you could try that. If all fails, just buy cheap wine,

Eh, Beer ain't my favourite drink either. There are good types out there but you have to experiment. Also, you tend to notice the taste less after having a couple of other drinks. That is, try having a couple of shots or bourbons, etc, first.

I'm just going to repeat what pretty much everyone else here has said, If you don't like it; don't drink it. Beer is cheaper but it's not worth it if you aren't enjoying it. Also, to everyone talking about how he's only 16, it's fine so long as he's responsible.

I have this "problem", though it extends to all alcohol. My solution? Drink soft drink. Try it sometime. Why do you feel the need to drink beer anyway?

Get your hands on some better beer or go back to suckling. Personally I prefer beer, but then again I'm old enough to drink it.

I catch a lot of flack for drinking supposedly "terrible" beer, but I love it. Don't listen to beer snobs, just experiment with different beers til you find one you like. Or don't drink beer.

He's right. The only beer you'll be drinking at the age of 16 will just be shit compared to the enormous world of beer tastes you'll discover at a later age.

Try ordering Lager and a splash of Lime cordial or even Guinness and Blackcurrant, similar to the idea of Snakebites and Cider and Black. Whilst growing up I would always order this, although in recent years I've grown the taste of beer.

Like everyone's said give it time, I'm sure you'll eventually grow the taste of beer, and if not there's plenty of other choice of alcoholic beverages to choose from.
