MTV's Down Town

A great little animated show from the 90's when MTV was still great. It only lasted 13 episodes, but God, how I wanted more.

I cross my fingers for a third Legend of the Seeker season. The first one was pretty good, but they really improved the show in season 2. Now here's to hoping that the improvements they made in season 2 pulled enough viewers.

I'm also starting to wonder how much life Mad Men has in it. I hope plenty, I still love it to bits.

As for games, as many people I'm still hoping for a new KotOR. I'm still horribly excited for SW:TOR, but a proper KotOR would still be very different from an MMO.

A new SW:Battlefront would be awesome too. I recently bought 2 during the LucasArts Steam week and I can see it's awesomeness shining through. It's just that playing online is so laggy that it's damn near impossible, but I can definitely see that it could be one of my favourite games ever. A new Battlefront could make that come true.

However, I know the overwhelming majority of existing fans of the franchise hated to its core and desperately desire being able to watch the entire cast and crew get spaced. And the real tragic part is I haven't seen any of these fans give a reason that doesn't sound like it stems directly from fan-boy hatred of anything that tries to be different then what they've done before (See the same attitude that got Enterprise canceled, something I will never forgive the human race for).
Here's an SG1 fan speaking; I really don't like the added drama. It desperately wants to go the Battlestar Galactica way (which is one of my favourite shows of all time) with deep characters and complex drama and the likes, but if you ask me that just doesn't really fit with the Stargate universe. I adore SG1 for it's delicious B-movie feel, pulpy and fun with the occasional touching heroics.

SG:U kicks all of that out of the door and tries really hard to be something else, so hard it feels very forced to me. The first episode episode alone made me wonder what the hell they're doing. Less than an hour in the series and someone we hardly know heroically sacrifices himself? Everyone's shocked and touched and whatnot, but what I just met the guy, what am I supposed to feel? And since when do "deep characters" mean that everyone's just a complete unlikeable asshole that just has a ton of problems?

And yet I keep watching SG:U. Maybe it's some kind of morbid fascination, I don't know, but I still want to know what's going to happen.

Oh and agreed on Enterprise, I adored that show. It retained that Star Trek feel I like but still felt fresh and new. That alone should make it pretty clear that I'm cool with series taking a new direction, but SG:U almost pretends like everything in the Stargate-verse before it never happened. It's pretty much Stargate in name only.

I need a continuation on the game XIII. But it'll probably never happen. I'll just look for the comics the game's based on, even if that'll take some great deal of commitment.

I was very disappointed when I found out that Heroes has been canceled. And they won't even make a movie to tie up loose ends.. It would also be interesting to see Jericho be continued, but that probably won't happen, and it may be for the best.

Exactly this but i disagree abotu the enterprise thing. They finally started to get their stuff together with their final season though. Too bad they got cancelled just as they grew a beard. For explanations as to Enterprise's problems, go check out Sfdebris on youtube.

Half-Life. Were the hell is Episode 3?!? Seems valve is to busy sucking the balls of Sony and Apple to actually make Half Life Ep3.

Hum...

Full Metal Panic. And no, I know it wont be continued. Shame.

Homeworld. Oh what I'd do for a HW3 that stuck to the original.

Firefly. Cuz.
