I personally think Liam Neeson is a pretty good actor and his accent is pure sexiness, right up there with Sean Connery and Morgan Freeman.

I have loads of sympathy for him and his family, I can't even imagine what they must be going through right now :-(

Honestly I couldn't care less. Some guy who's voice was in a video game I played had a wife die. ok

EDIT: This is in the wrong section also. A celebrities' wife dying has nothing to do with gaming.

This thread really hits home with me. I am a huge fan of Liam Neeson and of Fallout 3. I was really suprised and happy to see that he was a part of the Fallout 3 project. I send my sympathy to him. Thanks for a long career of great movies. Liam is still #1 in my book.

Apparently Liam Nesson is a genuinely nice bloke, so i feel for his tragedy. The tragic thing is why cant unexpected deaths happen to those who deserve it. IE Robert Mugabe

I don't want to seem uncaring, but how is this a tragedy at bethesda soft? I'm aware that Liam Neeson worked for them on Fallout 3, but this is hardly Gaming Discussion, or having anything to do with Bethesda.
While what you say is true, I was still sadenned by the news, I heard it early this morning as I got up early for work.

I think the OP just put Bethesda in to relate to the other gamers on this forum, that and he may be a big Neeson and Bethesda fan, possibly thinking that they would hire him again in a "familiarity" sort of way.

OP, could you maybe edit the title to read "tragic lost for Liam Neeson and family"? if not, ask one of the Mods, they would help in such a situation surely?

I'm a huge fan of Vanessa Redgrave!, my aunt is a big threater goer, so she loves her hugely!.

If you think Liam Neeson is a good actor, you should have seen Vanessa on stage, where there is no room for error.

I heard she was just in critical condition, not dead, though I could be wrong.
They turned off the life support at sometime around 9 pm, she was already brain dead when they transferred her to the other hospital from what I heard.

Am I a bad person for thinking "if she'd died in childbirth, now THAT would've been creepy"?

It sounds like ABI (Acquired Brain Injury), which my father had/has. Very serious.
I couldn't imagine losing my wife, so my thoughts are with Liam. A real tragedy.
I am so sorry about your father, and hope he recovers.

People can feel bad for the wife of someone they've never met all they want.. but the way that it's going is backwards as fuck. "He's one of the best actors\voice-over artists..." Why does that matter? If you're feeling bad for someone.. would it make any difference if he was shitty at what he did? Would this topic even exist if he wasn't "good"? Some of you need to get your priorities straight.

My father grew up on a farm about an hour's drive (these days) from Mont Tremblant; though I don't ski, I do know the area somewhat... it's a bit of a shock to see something like this happen at all, and more so when you know the place.

My condolences to the family.

PS: Folks, I beg of you, please wear your helmets.
Yes! My son refuses to wear his helmet skateboarding, and I am always in fear of an injury of this kind happening to him.

Well, he is not just a celebrity, but a part of Bethesda Game Studios, which does have to do with gaming. I apologize if this was the wrong heading to post under, but I thought it would be the correct place due to his main connection with a lot of gamers is his voice on the games.

Actually, that is untrue. If he wasn't involved in the games this post would not be here - not whether he was a good guy or not. He is a part of my favorite game studio, and Bethesda Soft is feeling the pain with Liam as one of theirs. If someone you worked with or did business with lost his spouse, it would be correct for you to express your condolences to that person.

I am accepting it, by being an asshole, for I find this a joyous occasion, as mother nature now has one less scourge of the earth to take care for, and to allow to savagly rape her.

P.S. By scouge, of course I mean Humanity.
If you mean humanity if the scourge why are you sucking Gaia dry yourself?

Oh he's ok now. Not the same man, but ABI does that.
He fell off a ladder onto his head on concrete. But he's working again and driving, which is really amazing considering the recovery rate of people with serious ABI. It's a very 'big deal' type of injury, that you never fully recover from.
