I say a world without Halo would be a COD World

FPS's would be different, in my opinion. Halo somewhat revolutionized the genre with Combat Evolved, and are recognized greatly for that.

Halo made console FPSs what they are today. Anyone who can't see that is a hater in denial.

Still, I'm sure all of the haters would find another game to rag on for no reason other than popularity. Some people just have to "fight the man" by hating anything mainstream.

The reason xbox become a success was because of the success of halo 1 and 2.
Halo was the jumpstart needed for the xbox to become successful . just like Mario.
