EIther one is fine, i can take them both. I have a rifle in my bedroom so either one is fucked. I also have a Kukri knife if i feel like getting up close and personal

Well, I suppose the murderer, because he can't turn people he kills into other murderers, and I also have guns in my house, so I won't have to worry about it as much as other people while the police are en route. And, in the off chance I have to kill the attacker, it will be a lot easier explaining to the police why I killed a murderer than a zombie.

I would say, zombie. It I just destroy the stairs and get a phone I can call for help and the zombie can't get me.

Note: The only supplies/weapons you have are what you currently have in your house in real life
This isn't fair for me. I have swords and shit in my house...

I would probably take on the zombie. They seem much easier to kil than an armed assailant. Plus, I've always wanted to kill a zombie

i'd go with option 1. less of a threat overall and easier to kill, capture. 2 would scare the pants off me could potentially infect the neighborhood while I waste time escaping/ killing it

Murderer, cause I'd rather be stabbed (or shoot at) by a murderer than getting eaten by a dead, bloody guy D:

I'd have to go zombie. Lots of stigma around killing murders, paperwork, it goes on your record, but with zombies, all ya gotta do is point and say, is a zombie!
I doubt they'd believe it was a zombie...

OT:

zombie
They would if I showed them the dismembered corpse
then they would just think you were a psycopath

Option 1 because if there is one zombie outside that means that there most likely are or will be many more zombies is the near future. I think my odds of surviving a murderer are greater than surviving a zombie invasion.

I have tried to write this response three times now! I finally resorted to writing this on MS Word so I wouldn?t lose my response again. Here is what I believe when I see this scenario. Option one: I could go down into my basement and fetch my 12 gauge shotgun. Whilst getting my gun I would phone the police and tell them I have seen a murder. I?m going to do all I can to apprehend the murderer since he is after me. Please hurry! I would then wait until I knew where they were then shoot to wound. As I would not want to kill them, morally I am not a murderer nor would I want to become one. I would then tie up this person and wait for the police.

Option two: I would not want to deal with this one at all. As most people keep saying it is the easiest because it is one zombie, they can kill it and not feel bad. BUT everyone, you seem to have forgotten that in almost any zombie movie, game, or story that if there is one there are surely hundreds near by. The first zombie already killed one person effectually infecting them. So right there you now have two undead to deal with. If there are two in the area of your house there must be more not far from you. Also, you now have to plan for survival longer than the initial killing of the zombie. If a zombie apocalypse has occurred you now must obtain sufficient food and water supplies. Along with a group of allies you can trust on to help you survive for as long as needed. No no no thrice over. I would pick option two because it is far more hellish and frightening to deal with than option one.

I am upstairs and it is night so I would probably be in my room which currently not only contains a number of heavy things but also my sword collection. So...

1. I would wait in a place I could not easily be seen, then wait for him either to give up and leave or for him to get close enough and lunge with my katana. I would call the police while I waited.

2. Slow zombie: I would attack with my broad sword because its big and heavy.
Fast zombie: (HAUL ASS!) Hide in the basement which is filled with useful things and obstructions.

My house has more than its fair share of firearms and people who know how to use them...

Any of the two options are fine with me, a zombie might be a waste of ammo and if it's a murderer he should know better to bring a knife to a gunfight he's outnumbered in.

He night even run away if he's got enough of a head on his shoulders... Though a zombie might not. (Figuratively and literally)
