Ok I am a bit biased because Im crazy about football, but come in my place..
How can someone who is unfamiliar with the genre understand and appreciate the diffrences in core gameplay? for example in Fifa10 every "good" player could easily abuse the mechanics and ruin other people experience..
Im not a game designer and I cannot know if that could have been fixed with just a patch..
Also I said in my OP that the major diffrence is the online play, atm in FIFA11 you can find a game 11vs11 people in less than a minute and play with amazing latency, which in previous years it was the wet dream of every fan.. including me..

Because as I said I respect them as critics and well.. I wanted to talk about it x_xLegion said:You also need to stop caring what other people think so much, Yahtzee and Bob don't like sports games, so why do their opinions matter to you so much?
I appreciate your post really and ofc im not offended in any way, you have been extremely clear and helpful about this "dispute".Therumancer said:Sorry if this isn't terribly polite, but you wanted an honest answer as to why this attitude exists, and this is what I think. There are people who are smart who like sports (plenty of them) and plenty of people who can enjoy mainstream games, and more serious ones, do nobody should think I am nessicarly dismissing them. In the end though there are far more people as customers for gaming out there that can't really appreciate games beyond this level, than serious gamers and those who like to play on both levels.
When you understand the thought processes involved, even if most people don't (or can't) articulate them, it's easy to understand why discussions on this subject can get so nasty.
