I don't want to sound like a pessimist, but that doesn't work as well as it should. My dad tried sending a letter to our Republican senator about the horrible health care bill they're trying to pass in Washington. When he told them about how bad this would be for the country, the secretary said something on the lines of "We're disappointing that you think this way."
