Deus Ex 3 being a disappointment would be very disappointing.
EA continuing to own Bioware would also be upsetting

If you don't want conservatives or liberals to be elected, then who do you want elected.
People who actually do whats best for the country. Conservatives and Liberals are posers hwo pretend to be politicians to push morallity into debate. I should not have to worry that the person Im voting for thinks Im a sin for what I am, and liberals, while they atleast have good intentions...tend to be stupid.
For a lot of issues, you've got to be either liberal or conservative :\
It's not so much a problem of who's president, but rather that we're a two party system where everyone is stuck with party platforms if they want party endorsements for reelection.
No. You dont. For one, its Republican and Democrat. However, Conservatives and latched onto Republicans, and Liberals to Dems. But disagreeing with one, doesnt make me agree with the other. But thats because the world is not as black and white as politics would want you to think.
But I so agree the two party system thing is a bad thing. Mostly since whatever one side builds up will be immediatly torn down the second the other side gets power to do so. (See Obama Healthcare for prime example)
You're the one who called them Conservative and Liberal in the first place! It would be extremely weird if you thought conservatives in general thought you were a sin for what you were, while liberals in generals were just stupid, especially conservatism could lead to a completely different stance on an issue depending on one's society and time period. Thus, I reasoned you must have meant "conservatives" as the GOP and "liberals" as the Democratic Party. I felt no desire to call you out on a nitpick, and now you do it to me? How...ungentlemanly. :\
And I never said politics was black and white; I simply said for some issues, it's not a rainbow, but a spectrum of greys. Take, for example, gun control and gay marriage. For both, you have extreme sides and moderate sides, but all along the same spectrum.
Gun Control:
Guns for all, no limitations ---> Guns for some, registration, safe storage, etc --> No guns
Gay Marriage:
Fuck no ---> Some legal rights, civil unions ----> Marriage
For these spectrums, you're either going to be liberal or conservative. Moderate liberal/conservative, sure, but you're still "liberal" or "conservative."
Don't put words in my mouth :|
