Activison want you to pay for Online

I pay for my WoW account, that is all Activision will be getting from me, via monthly fees.

I take it you pay for it because it is worth paying for...I wish companies would understand this. Don't just arbitrarily charge for stuff, charge for stuff that is worth charging for. I don't see why developers don't license servers that people can purchase and game on etc. It seems like a worthwhile revenue stream since there are ISP's that make a living off of that. I would think that such revenue would at least help cover some basic costs.

Considering how gullible people are they will eventually do this and it will WORK.

I dislike Activision's business model as much as any sane gamer that doesn't buy their games, but if the statistics don't lie complaining about it alone will not do anything as seen from Generic War Shooter 212's success.
