Oh lots. Off the top of my head, I think Michael Fassbender is one of the 2-3 best actors working in the industry today, and I absolutely love the way Carey Mulligan emotes with her eyes.

but man, I'd be very interested if someone made a thread that was opposite of this (a love/squee thread) and see what everyone's responses were.
I'll start the ball rolling with a real gem: Sir Patrick Stewart. Dat voice. I could listen to that man all day and never get tired of it. Plus, he absolutely rocks the bald look.

Also can we just get him to play Dash Rendar in a Shadows of the Empire movie? PLEASE?!

Huh. I'd never heard about his domestic abuse charges before now. That's unfortunate.Azure23 said:Great actor, terrible person, should probably be in jail. Damn I just couldn't do it. Great Magneto though.
Pitt is a limited actor, but I really enjoy his willingness to take on difficult roles or unusual projects. He could've had a fine career doing rom-coms and Oceans Eleven style fluff pieces, but he dips his toes in a lot of interesting waters. Have to respect that.Azure23 said:Brad Pitt, somebody up above mentioned that Pitt is Similar to Robert Redford and I can totally see the comparison, Pitt is at his best when he's playing a slightly odd character who is nonetheless entirely too likable.
Internet hi-five to the other Tim Roth fan! I watched Lie to Me just because I was so entertained by his performance. I even thought he was good in The Incredible Hulk.Andy Shandy said:In no particular order

Have you seen The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford? I really wouldn't call anyone who could pull off that performance limited.BloatedGuppy said:Pitt is a limited actor, but I really enjoy his willingness to take on difficult roles or unusual projects.
