Nolan North. I've never really liked any character he's voiced because they're all such colossal tools.

The fact that he keeps getting work when he only has one voice is equally annoying.

I know it's cliche by now, but I gotta say it:

Johnny Freaking Depp.

Seriously, bro. It was fun in the original "Pirates of the Caribbean," but the schtick is wearing thin.

I know you can act, I've seen you do it!

Next role someone pitches to Depp, he better be all like:
"No, I'm playing this character like Gilbert Grape."
"But it's a quirky comic relief character."
"I'm Johnny Depp. I do what I want!"

I was so tired when Will Ferral was everywhere. There was a time when he was in every comedy that came out, it got annoying.
I'd like to see Leo and surprisingly Ashton Kutcher in a few more movies. The latter was really good in Killers.

OT: Leonardo di Caprio

He's in more and more movies despite having the acting range of a goat. Even Martin Scorsese cast him in three of his movies for some baffling reason. Leonardo di Caprio with his boyish yelps as Howard Hughes, are you serious?!
Really? I think Leonardo is a great actor. He's been brilliant in his latest movies, and he plays a variety of different characters very well. He especially impressed me in Django Unchained.

I actually wish DiCaprio was in more movies. Very under-appreciated actor who is always willing to learn more and better himself. You don't find that humble trait too often nowadays.
I would rank him just below Matt Damon in terms of acting quality. Sure, he's not the worse actor ever, but I'm always painfully aware that he's acting a character instead of being a character. His performance never feels natural, and he doesn't ever disappear into the person he's portraying. He always comes across as Leonardo di Caprio acting.

He's just way too mediocre to get this many high profile roles. And someone ought to get flogged for casting him as Howard Hughes. Or J. Edgar Hoover for that matter.

I will also have to say Tom Cruise. We get it... you think you are god's gift to woman and the ultimate action star, we've seen enough. The deal was sealed for me with Mission Impossible 2. Directed by Tom Cruise, Produced by Tom Cruise, and guess what, Starring Tom Cruise! The movie was basically an overdone glorification of himself.

Another one I will add and I might get LOTS of flak for this one, but whatever... is Melissa McCarthy. She is decent in Mike & Molly, but she uses the same humor in all the movies she is in and it just falls very flat for me. She's lucky to get a smile out of me, just not my vein of humor and Hollywood has been placing her in EVERY comedy movie recently. Blagh.

Ben Afleck. Any time a movie comes on with Ben Afleck in it, I think "This movie's a little too much Ben Afleck. Lottery Ticket was cool, and he does well in comedies, but in general he just makes all of his movies a little too much Ben Afleck. Know what I mean?

Don't want to defend them as I'm not particularly into them but people saying Johnny Depp and Tom Cruise only play one character? I'm not a fan but of anything to say about them, that's really not true.
Me? Daniel Craig. I don't like his version of Bond, and I don't like him in any of the other films I've seen him in like Layer Cake and Road to Peredition. He just doesn't seem to be able to engage me.

Nicholas Cage. Maybe it's just that he picks really bad films to be in but he sure is in a lot of them and it really doesn't help that a lot of them are terrible.

I'm honestly getting a little tired of seeing Amy Adams everywhere and I'm not thrilled that they tapped her for Lois Lane in the Man of Steel movie.

This is no longer relevant but there was a time in the mid to late 2000s when Freddie Highmore was just absolutely everywhere and I couldn't stand it. He was even in one movie twice, playing twins. I was just like "nope, can't handle it. Please go away."

I would say Nicolas Cage but I'd be lying. It's hard to imagine getting tired of watching him try to act. His "southern" accent in Con Air is especially hilarious.

On topic I'll be the Nth person to say that I'm getting a bit tired of Johnny Depp. He needs to take a step back and show up more often in supporting roles. His incredibly random appearance in 21 Jump Street is more or less what I'm talking about. Similarly I'm getting tired of Helena Bohnam Carter showing up prominently in every single Tim Burton movie.

I would also say Will Smith but I've largely tuned his career out as he hasn't done anything of note recently. Hell, even the most recent movie of his that I saw he wasn't even the most interesting thing in it. The movie for those wondering was Men in Black 3 where the most interesting things where Josh Brolin's uncanny Tommy Lee Jones impersonation and the random actor who played the villain baring a striking similarity to Tim Curry. I would also add that Will Smiths IMDB page is downright depressing as among his announced movies are: I, Robot 2, Hancock 2 and Bad Boys 3. Ugh.

I'm not the only one that thinks Johnny Depp needs to disappear for a while? I've finally found people of a kindred spirit?

The world IS a beautiful place!

Seriously, I know he's actually a really good guy and he's obviously pretty talented, but even he has to be aware of how ridiculous his career has gotten lately.

Johnny Depp. Any time Tim Burton does a movie, seeing Depp is pretty much assured. Plus, Depp has a tendency to get not-very-well-written parts, I'm sorry it's true.

Will Smith & Tom Cruise for the exact same mid-life crisis reason: They both seem to usually pick action movies wherein they are super amazing agents/warriors/etc. Just get a red convertible and a younger girlfriend (or boyfriend) like everyone else.

Also, Will, when your list of upcoming movies looks like this: I, Robot 2; Hancock 2; Bad Boys 3, it's a pretty good sign you're creatively dead in the water.

Damn it, ninja'd by ThingWhatSqueaks while I read IMDB pages. :p

I've seen 2 posts about Will Smith's new upcoming movies, but it's hardly like he directs them or anything, he plays the lead in them. He might just like the movies, and would be interesting to continue the universe. See I Robot and Hancock, those are quite interesting settings for a movie to be played in, and if I were an actor I would certainly like to be in one of them. It's not like a generic action shtick like well okay Bad boys 3. but still, two out of three good settings isn't that bad.

OT, I think I'm getting a bit tired of Bruce Willis. I don't very much like him anymore. But then again, he's just one of those generic gruff action guys. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but he's too gruff, and not enough charm. (see Jason Stattham for instance, love those movies!)

Seth Rogan! It's not as bad as that strip of time in like 2008 where it seemed like he was in literally every movie, but he's still overexposed. If you don't like your movies staring sarcastic stoners, you're pretty much out of luck in the comedy department...

Steve Blum. Great voice actor (I'm just going to count voice actors too), don't get me wrong, great voice... but he sounds the EXACT same all the time. Kills all immersion. Instead of 'hey, a new character' all I can think is 'oh... Steve Blum'. Get some more range, Steve!
he actually has great range, but the show runners want his actual voice, because it sounds so great.

what you are saying is essentially the same as "get some range, Morgan Freeman!" they want his voice, so that is what he does most of the time.

he can change his voice quite drastically, when they want him to. for every character of his that you recognize as having his voice, there is another character you would never know was him.

I see what you mean. For me, that was Jeff Bridges prior to True Grit. You'd see him in a movie and go "Hey, it's Jeff Bridges... again..."

That's cool, maybe he's just not your thing.

Probably.

Bill Murray hardly ever really acts in his movies, yet I love him.
