After the Fall (Anime Style Post Apocalyptic RP, Full. Episode Two: Dirge of Peace.)

[Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon]

Malues inspected the glass ball closely.
'It's hard to come by such fragile things these days. Were'd you get it?''
A powerful pain apeared in his head.
FUCK! Not again!
Thoughts started apearing in his mind. Thoughs of how he could use it as a weapon, as a repair item and others he couldn't quite make out.
Gotta keep control!
His body started going crazy, forcing him to run into things and making his arms flail around wildly.
Must... keep... awake.
He let out a loud scream and then it all faded to black.

 

[Zirat]

Germain quickly dived to catch the glass ball as it fell while Malues was flailing . Safely catching it he then turned his attention to his passed out compatriot on the floor, after kicking him in the side to see if he was still alive he helped him up to his feet and brought him out to the deck.

"We have a man down here Joseph, he had a seizure or something in the control room"

Malues coughed up blood over the floor.
In his head he was seeing his parents die over and over.
GET AWAY FROM THEM!

"Okay, huh, shit. um, yes, you can call me Joseph, and, shit, huh, I don't know, give him some space or something? I don't know what to do for a seizure." Joseph said as he pulled at his hair slightly. "Captain, we may have to delay the voyage slightly! We've got a boy down!"

Malues became aware of what was going on. He could hear everyone but he couldn't move or speak.
I'm not a boy! I'm a man!
He began thinking of why this had happend so soon. Usualy it takes him to use it alot until this happens.
It doesn't make sense! It was just a glass ball
Malues concentrated and managed to say one sentence.
'Just put me below deck...'
He blacked out again.

"Okay, huh, do what he says, but keep and eye on him, I don't want him hurt." Joseph let out a sigh of relief "Okay, Captain, we're good. Just get us going and don't let anything happen to the area below deck. Lilith, I need you to find a good position to fire from if we encounter the Serpent, and I need you to do that thing where you infuse your bullets with fire." Joseph said to the young girl.

 

[The Hairminator]

"How did you kno-" She let out, but then sighed. "Alright, I'll try not to light the boat on fire."

She whistled to the dog to follow, and walked to the front of the boat, where she could look out over the dark waves. One thing was for sure, she didn't want a gigantic worm sneaking up on them.

Malues was witnessing his nightmare again. He was 9 again, 9 and defenceless. The raiders were smiling as they killed his parents. They were talking about how they would make him a raider or as they put it 'One of them'. He saw himself breaking free and getting his fathers weapons. He remebers them laughing. He remembers them screaming. He remembers himself crying.
He became aware, still not able to move or sleep but aware.
I need to get up.
He tried but failed.
Why am I so weak!

 

[Zirat]

"Calm yourself, mate" Germain said to him after hearing him mumbling. "Relax and it will all be over soon, your below decks now and let me tell you, you are not an easy man to carry. In fact your lucky I didnt throw you over board for trying to steal from me" he said with a laugh.

"Alright, Captain, let's get moving." Joseph said to the captain of the ship. The captain nodded and yelled at a few of the crewmen to get ready. Within seconds the ship was pulling out of the harbor, and several crewmen took their spots on the machine guns. "Alright, it'll be getting dark soon, so we're going to have to be ready for anything. We have one man down and another taking care of him, so all of us are going to have to work double time. Before we get too far, are there any questions?" He asked the group.

"Well, the short version is that I shocked you, stopping you from running, I explained that if this mission get's fucked up that my employer will kill my son, me and the Captain made fun of Lilith and Malues, and there's a giant Serpent in the area, so we're going to need some firepower. And no, that does not mean you get to arm a machine gun, you just get t shoot a giant worm." Joseph explained to Dane.

 

[Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon]

Malues summoned enough strength to do basic movements and opened his eyes.
'I'm ok. I just can't move. Go up and help them. I'll call if i need anyone.'

 

[Zirat]

"Good, because I wasnt planning on babysitting you the whole trip" he said as he moved back to the upper decks.

"Joseph, seems Malues has calmed himself down enough but that really took a lot out of him, so dont expect much help from him if we get attacked." he said as he leaned against the wall and pulled out his glass ball again

 

[Fallen-Angel Risen-Demon]

Malues entered his sub-consciousness, it was what he usualy did when this happend. He thought of his bleak future, of how he was destined to die lonely. He never mentioned to anyone but he had a sister who died when the raiders attacked. She died when he killed the raiders, it was his fault. When he fought back one of the raiders used her as a bodysheild, he had fired on him without noticing and the bullet went through her and killed the raider. She was 3. Malues never forgave himself, he carried the burden of guilt and sometimes it nearly drove him to kill himself. Then he began to think about Lilith. He himself didn't know why he felt he neded to protect her, he put it down that he understood what it was like to be alone at that age, wandering the wastes, only she had the dog to keep her company.
What is the story behind the dog? I've got to find out.
He let himself fall asleep as it was a luxury he normaly didn't let himself have.

"I wasn't expecting him to just get over that, but we have enough firepower to take on any pirate group, and he wouldn't be much help against a Serpent either." Joseph turned around. "Captain, how long do you think it will take until we reach the island?" The Captain looked down from the control room. "Roughly two hours if the winds are favorable, three if they aren't." Joseph turned back to the others. "Alright, you heard him. At ease for now, but make sure your clips are full and your powder's dry." With that Joseph took a seat on one of the many piles of crab cages.
