My friend had quite an interesting take on this. He said "Imagine a bird flying through nothingness. No heat, no cold, no fear, no life. Nothing. Then it flies through a room full of light, dark, heat, cold, love, life etc etc. Then it flies out again, back into the nothingness, with only the memory of the room"
I didn't think reincarnation could put you back into yourself... :\
But yeah I meant that once I'm dead I'd prefer to be put into the body of a newborn animal, human, insect, anything but my old body.
I'd like to be able to choose what happens after I die. What I mean is, I die, and then I'm given a shitload of options, whether I want some sorta eternal paradise, or reincarnation or something like that, and if reincarnation I get to choose what/who I'm reincarnated as, and then I get to choose any of those options, or a combination, or whatever.
Basically an open-world afterlife, of sorts.
That said, I don't believe anything happens after death.
just nothing. no time, no mass, just nothing. it seems an odd thing to want, but if i were to go to heaven to eternity... well, eternity is just too long.
although i suppose say 100 years in heaven, then being reincarnated would be quite good. yeah, ill go with that.
