Have they ever landed rovers or something of the like on Titan? Perhaps the temperature could be suitable for life due to a "Super-Global warming" because of it's dense atmosphere of what we consider greenhouse gases.
Much too far away. It'll take them 5 years to get to Mars, and Saturn is 6 times the distance away.
I'm pretty sure that the time to reach Mars at the shortest distance is ~6 months. The years you're referring to are the result from using a gravitational slingshot effect to generate sufficient speed for the probes, as the extra fuel they would otherwise need would make them too large.

yeeeah in four billion years we will be either extinct because earth dies out before we have the technology to travel to titan, or still be present and be so technologically advanced that we could probably travel to other galaxies. Hell maybe even to another universe.
You get what Universe means, don't you? The Universe is commonly defined as the totality of everything that exists, including all physical matter and energy, the planets, stars, galaxies, and the contents of intergalactic space.

How could we travel to ANOTHER totality of everything that exists?

It may be possible for life to exist on Titan. I wouldn't rule it out. Those sources are a bit shady since it's the internet and I haven't heard it on the news, but it still may be possible.

Only time will tell I suppose.

What I think the life looks like has been highly influenced by spore:

LOL It's like Clerks 2. "I wanna be an astronaut. I'd be the first to go to a different planet, find a new life form and F*** it! Then when people saw me, they would say "Hey, there goes that guy who F***ed a martian."

Well, there is the possibility of alternate universes, and if this universe occured whats to say another didn't?

Yeah, If it took you couple of years to walk down your street.I'd say it's closer to a cross country trip on, oh say, a vespa.
I get the scale, but in the sense of the galaxy, we're still light years away..

Well, after reading a bunch o sources and stuff, it looks like no matter what the outcome (alien bugs[BASED ON ETHANE!?!?!?!?!] or some kind of new mineral that can turn the acetylene into methane) something big, scientificy and cool is going to go down. Also, that episode of ST:TOS where they run into the silicon spaghetti monster won;t be as cool. they'll have to make a new ethane one instead.

"They warned, however, that there could be other explanations for the findings."

I hate it when this sort of report ends with these words. It just means that it wont be wicked-cool aliens, it'll just be some sort of hungry moss.

I want a report to end with:

"So yeah, Titan. Aliens. They're on their way in their spaceship and so get ready to party down."

It is theorised that hydrocarbons were important components in the primordial soup which led to complex life on this planet. So from a pure science standpoint it would be awesome to study what could be a similar situation.

With very little sunlight, a surface temperature of -180°C and gravity 1/7th that of Earth, it is unlikely to be even bacterial life, let alone multi-cellular; more likely it would just be lots of organic compounds mingling together, but that's still very interesting for science.

Acetylene can react with other trace chemicals in Titan's atmosphere to produce vinyls and acrylics, so if there is more complex life on Titan, my best guess at its appearance would be like the Nestene/Autons from Doctor Who (i.e. made of plastic).

Well, I wouldn't be too surprised for it to be true. Scientists have considered Titan to be likely to harbor life for quite some time now to my knowledge.

Either way, if it's true, awesome news.
