Ok bear with me here and read the entire post before yelling at me. Today at school I was just standing still then all of a sudden I pictured Marge Simpson entering the independent movie theater to see "Candy Land", and then later today that same episode came on.

This isn't the first time this has happened either. I can remember random scenes from animated shows entering my mind and then later the same episode I was thinking of for no reason, comes on. Does this happen to anyone else? Its kinda freaky. And for some reason it only works for animated shows and nothing beyond that. And I can't predict the show if I start trying to predict it, the scenes enter my head for no particular reason when I'm not thinking about it. This has happened to me way to many times to be a coincidence.
It is possible, try to clear you mind and write down whatever you see or hear that comes to your mind. Are there any other examples that you can think of that might relate (thinking of a thought that a person later says (telepathy), or other such odd occurrences)?

I am not an expert but I know a guy I can ask.

It is coincidence; you're not psychic. Not much else to it.
Or you know he is remembering seeing the little preview advert blurb for it after the last episode.

OP think about this: How many times have you remembered a cartoon, and it didn't come on?

There is your answer, you think about cartoons and occasionally one you where thinking about airs, and blam you remember that one, and not the 800 other cartoon episodes you thought of.

You only notice it when something strange happens. Compare how often it hasnt happened with how often it has and you'll realize that it's chance.
This.

It seems like a strange happening because you think of it, then it comes on.
How often do you think of random episodes of x show, then they don't come on?

It's the same phenomenon when people play games of chance and feel horribly unlucky because they "never win", when in reality, they just pay attention to each loss more than each victory, or vice versa.
Look at that I am not even the first to ask. Probably cause that's the answer that actually makes sense, rather then the rules of the universe bending psychic.

i have my own theory is is the other 95% of the human brains strength, that jsut flexes every once in a while, my science teacher says that if we could use all 100% of our brains, we could probably do crazy shit, like see through walls, and be able to do stuff you couldnt otherwise do.

expanding on the theory that it could do that, those flashes of knowing whats going to happen, is perhaps the other 95 percent flexing its muscles, and keeping more active.

There's no such thing as psychics.

Basically, it's kind of like Deja Vu, where your eyes see something and your brain is slow to recognize it so you think you've seen it before yadah yadah yadah.

i cannot see the near future but you can predict events using math science and the by noticing patterns of change in the enviorment.

however

telepaths are real to an extent. it is possible to move something with your mind, but don't get your hopes up. for most people it takes an extreme unreal amount of concentration and most people will burst a blood vessel before they are able to move somthing (seeing how it takes hours to gain that much focus) and you can only move small objects. in my attempts i did it a couple of times, but i was bleeding out of my nose with the first attempt and by the time i got it to move it moved only about 3 centimeters and the object was piece of broken pencil lead.

As you can see, many people have similar instances of what you described, but pretty much everyone shrugs it off. I think more people believe in psychics than they let on. They believe, for the most part, in an intangible father figure residing in a far-away paradise that you can only get to if you follow an ancient set of rules, but they don't believe in the power of the human mind?
Question is: What do you believe? And do you believe in yourself?
I BELIEVE!

OT: Same thing happens to me, just it happens after a couple days instead of that day. And it happens with real life, not TV. And it happens ALOT. Which is where this quote comes in, if you believe that you are, then there. If you don't, then you don't. Personally, I believe I am, but on a minor level, and thus I think you are too.

I was thinking of that Scrubs episode when JD gets the man cards and someone posted the very clip in a thread here.
Heh, that's a good one...

Oh, uh, on topic: I doubt you're psychic; I've experienced the same thing before, and I know many other people have. It's just some odd form of dejá vu.

Nope, not a psychic. It's all just simple Deja Vu but on another note situations like this are why pseudo psychologies exist. People will believe anything that is going to make them feel good about themselves or unique. I just hope you don't end up spending money to advance it or something. lol. Anyways don't think much about it bro. ;)

You could be a psychic, but unless you can find a way to controll it, it doesn't matter. I have the same thing happen to me with games, except the random useless crap I see is in my dreams and happens about a month later. So far every time I dream about playing a game it happens exactly the way I dremt it. I just wish I could use this to see useful things like the next swing the guy you are fighting is going to make.

I tend to be skeptical and disregard any claim related to the word and any other associative word for "psychic".
But maybe this goes back to when I was younger, about 6 or 7. I found an old, and I mean OLD cemetery. Most of the tombstones and markers were fairly eroded. And far away from the organized group was one lone grave. It was completely covered in moss. When I removed the moss and went to touch it, all other sight and my surroundings disappeared. I eventually saw a black silhouette of a man for a brief moment, then everything that was "real" reconstructed around me. Needless to say, at that age, I shit bricks.
That's pretty freaky cool. Unfortunately i read your post on the net and so have to take it with a truck load of salt.

It happens to me all the time but that's because I use the info button before I watch something.

If you are, it's not enough to mean anything. And you can't really be sure how many times you've been wrong, cuz then, it's just you thinking about an animated show, not you predicting the futuer, so u forget.
As for it happening to me, i will start singing a song as i get into my car, and turn the radio on and have that song come out of the speakers at exactley the place im in. It happens, its luck, or u saw/ heard something u didnt realize, or heck, maybe all of us are just a tiny bit psychic, at the end of the day, if you cant use it for anything useful, does it really matter?

Even if you were psychic, which you're not, why would you bother verifying such a lame psychic ability? If my iPhone can do the same thing as your "psychic ability," only on command and more reliably, then your psychic ability isn't worth investigating.
